This ships ABSOLUTELY sux at first sight:
-crappy armor for battleships
-cant effectively hit co. lets not even talk about fi. (the weaponspeed is crappy)
-Will give u 1 more class for u'r enemies to shoot at.
BUT... if u would think a little further this ship is absolutely a MUST HAVE for the medium-big sized xans:
As a medium/big xan u have 2 REAL enemies:
-cathaar with lots of spiders+beetles (yes scorpions are dangerous 2 but alot easier to get defence for due to the eta 9)
-Other xans wich give u messy battlereports and are hard to defend against (smart xans will sent eta 7 fi/co fleet to kill+roid u)
Cathaar has NO effective BS stunner, only some random shooting ships but since u got waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fi/co then u will have BS they wont really get targeted.. and 90% emp-res is nice protection.
Xans are even more screwed up! they can use : broadsword, fireblade and peacekeeper for your BS. These ships are all pretty effective against your poorly armored BS, BUT as soon as your attacker sents them, they leave themselves open to 2 threaths: pulsars and bombers wich would normally eat out of their noses vs. a fi/co fleet but now have a nice killing spree making your roids VERY expansive.
Well.. offcourse one could use sentinils but since they relie on random fire your attackers should kill ALL your fi/co BEFORE the sentinils shoot (so that would require TONS of vsharks...).
Your BS will thus keep alive/unemped vs these 2 enemies and start killing their precious co/fi (they arnt very effective but its kill that they CANT avoid and will make their roids costy as hell)
Vs terran and Zirkonian they are SOMETIMES handy, but most normal ter/zirk players dont have so many fi/co that your vsharks+culdassa's cant handle them and u might wanna consider to sent them away to make a galm8 under attack happy
Besides deffing yourself its also handy to have as ingal defence, cos these babies will always be appriciated by a fellow cathaar or zirkonian to defend them with!
Offcourse this ship will NEVER leave your galaxy (in some cases not even your planet) so u dont wanna overdo it at building them
Roiding with them would lead to instand transport to the mental hospital!
Small xans will have NO benefit for these ships though: their army will be so small that both cathaar and xan. will succeed in their random fire to kill your BS before it gets 2 shoot and it might even lure bs-hungry zirkonians to your planet
