bit of a strange one this but
i need a picture of a healed bone fracture so that i can show a young boy who had a broken arm why there is a bump where the break was

i wish to illustrate how ther bone grows over a bit where the break was to make it stronger
but cant be arsed to do a drawing

(so far google is being unhelpful)

It's only stronger for a short while as the body will reshape the reinforced bone (almost) back to how it would have been prior to the break.

You probably knew that anyway but i'm dying on my arse here waiting for my diagnosis lecture. \0/

here is an x-ray. this is a fractured tibia of a male schizophrenic, with a pin holding it together, just prior to the holding pin being removed. you can see that the bone is all lumpy around the fracture where it has healed.
