With the last day of Round 9.5 reaching its close, comes the end of an era for the members of Howling Rain. It was seen by many members as a gamble to join the ranks of NoS but it's safe to say that this was nothing more then speculation. HR & NoSers playing style suited each other perfectly and our passions for the game paid further testimony to this.

We have fought to the best of our abilities together with NoS, since the beginning of round 7. We've met some great players and even greater people in that special place which doesn't exist.

Round 10 will be a turning point for both parties and we hope everybody involved have enjoyed the journey.

From this point on, HR will once again dare the wilds of the Universe and continue to play with pride, compassion, dedication and fluffyness.

A big thank you to NoS, we hope the learning experience has been mutual.

Ever since the first day i begged Wipeout to speak with Dingo about wanting to recruit ex-ICD members // friends & foes into the Illuminati ... early r6, to the day ICD finally merged into HR during the reunification saga ... to the day we approved the integration of HR into NoS's ranks... i have enjoyed the presents of Howling Rain, and i know many others (past and present) in the Illuminati have made long term friendships with your member base... it was a pleasure back in the day when we founded this deal... and im sure it was a pleasure right up until the very end.

HR added allot to NoS, its friendly community spirit was just what was needed to remove the ' Arrogant ' feel the Illuminati had developed during its early days, and its political success's of the early/mid weeks of round 6, HR calmed us down a little, and grounded us in a way that made the round fun... not just revenge, i think this was the winning formula... its a shame it did not last...

But either way, their were many fun times... and many people i would love to list bellow who made a great impact and difference on the way NoS was during the good days... but ill stick to just a few...

Having HR with NoS has been fantastic.

A terrific bunch of people that shared so many things in common with NoS.

They fitted in perfectly and 99% of the time it was impossible to tell their was any differences at all and that it wasn't just 1 big group.

Now comes the time for them to go their own way again, just like all our children eventually do. I and all of NoS will respect them and miss them.

Follow your HC's way of dealing with it. Don't take things to personal. This is not directed towards NoS/HR breaking up, but towards the general mentality where every breakup was much more violent in the past rounds.

there us a certain difference between the Titans split, and this HR split..

HR was founded in R2, and was an alliance before joining NoS.

and each round end. we would inform NoS Command if we stayed another round or not.

The only reason we stayed this long. was we liked it there..
we became NoS.. in all aspects of being NoS. (hell.. I've even got laetitia casta as background pic, and a NoS cup on my desk)

but we never forgot who we where.

so you see. we are far from traitors, as everything has been done correctly, and friendly.

and I don't think we will be seeing any hostile acts between NoS and HR any time soon =)
