Too general sarina. Couldnt give a shit really about nail paints, eyeliner, blusher. Highlights dont look good on most girls. Too much lipstick or too bright a lipstick is shit, it has to be subtle. Foundations and things to smooth out the skin complexion are the only neccesary makeups really.

If someone puts on enough makeup so that I can actually see the rouge on her cheeks or her lipstick is far too bright I wouldn't go near her. I think it's partly a psychological "olookwataslag" and partly a preference for women who have enough confidence in themselves to not need to put on five pounds of makeup before they'll step outside.


PS Often the contrast on her face will look disgusting (well worse than if she only used a moderate amount) as well.

In my experience: Social conditioning and air brushing of 'women' in men's magazines means that a lot of men find a certain appearance, involving reasonably subtle make up, attractive. I don't wear make up every day. I do ocasionally wear it when I want to make myself more attractive. This could be for all sorts of reasons, but common motivations include: making someone who has annoyed me feel inadequate by being far more attractive than them, being 'on the pull', needing a good grade from a lab demonstrator, etcetera.

I've found that far more effective than make up for getting good skin is drinking 2 litres of water a day, which is your recommended daily dosage of H - two - O.
