I never use anything except Times New Roman, or at a pinch Georgia.

I despise Comic Sans. It's only used in documents that want to say 'LOOK AT ME! I'M FRIENDLY', and it just makes them look stupid.
Everything proper uses TNR.

I don't use it in documents ffs
I use it as default for chat clients and the like. I use TNR for letters reports etc.
However I think you have serious mental health issues if you are this bothered by a font :p

It's a by product of the leaflets themselves.
It's ruined the font for me.

Free fonts are generally less complete and lower quality. Making a font is a skilled task.

Re: Re: Re: Fonts
Heh. There are some ok fonts, like at http://www.gnome.org/fonts/, but they're a rare find. If you just want something ...umm... stylish... for your website ("26 letters") it doesn't matter either way, I suppose.

For some reason every document (letter, manual, etc) produced by my company has to be in Arial Size 12.
Georgia is nice, although I do sometimes use Arial even when not forced to do so at gun point.

Verdana and Tahoma both look not too shabby. Arial s'nice though and TNR is only good for 'professional' documents
People use TNR for webages

Tahoma is the basis of everything I do; graphics, webpages, documents.
Even if I'm given a specific format to be doing things in, it'll get Tahoma'd up good.
In essense, if Linux users don't have an equivalent, **** em.

Fixedsys for IRC
Arial for MSN, MSOE and website viewing
TNR for essays and important type stuff.
Courier or Fixedsys for programming

I've never. And I mean NEVER, seen anyone even attempt to imply that me downloading their fonts would ever cost me anything but my own bandwidth.
Then again, the same is true of mainstream games and applications, mp3's and whatnot.

Most businesses use TNR or Courier.
Anything else is a waste of paper.

I'm a Century Gothic kinda guy
TNR has got to be one of the ugliest fonts, avoid it at all costs.
