Xmen 2
10 times better than the first one. Magento pulls the pins out of peoples' grenades... Badass. He also pulls iron out of somebody's blood. Nightcrawler is just AWESOME. Matrix special effects have nothing on this movie.

Anna Paquin (Rogue) was well fit.
Almost as good as Rogue in X-Men Evolution.

The Rogue in the X-Men movies has nothing on the Rogue from the series, fs.
Movie Rogue is a frightened young girl who doesn't dare to do ****.
Series Rogue was a hot, flying, witty, strong, tight-suited woman.

The six seconds where Colossus got a look in on the action was... errr... good.
But the whole bit at the very end with, you know, that shape in the water means that the next film is probably going to be quite silly.

nope, but he gets a mention as does beast. Remy LeJean is on a bit of paper (gambits real name) . And Dr Hank McCoy is on a tv (beast). I didnt notice it but apparently its there.
Would love to see Gambit in a future one, he is
Beast could be kinda lame though.

no, there are several aleternate timelines if I recall, depending on which thread of the x men you follow. It is quite possible for them to do the Phoenix thing without spacemen and so on, and in order to keep the mainstream audience, I think they will avoid the likes of Galactaca and the Silver Surfer.
If however they to include all that twaddle, I'm not watching the next film.
Furthermore, Gambit was actually in this movie, but his scene was cut. Also if you look on the screens when Mystique is looking at the computer, you see Gambit and The Beast mentioned, along with a bunch of others too.

It did indeed look fine. I am definitely looking forward to the Burley Brawl and chase scene that made the writers of T3 redo their whole end sequence.
I am however going to have to watch it all in German again

Not a bad movie. A bit better than the first, so 7.5/10
Problem was so many main characters... so many stories squeezed into a single movie.

I hadn't seen the first so didn't know what to expect.
IT WAS UTTERLY LEGEND
Especially the Nightcrawler doing roundhouse kick's in mid-air bit.

Good movie concerning SFX and stuff.
nightcrawler is aces, as is the part where magneto escapes from his prison.
Not really in the league of legendary movies and stuff, but good enough.
one of these movies where you put your mind on "off", sit back and enjoy the show.

Boy, when the dam was about to crack under the pressure from all that water, that was tense. Too bad they did not have someone there who could, I don’t know, freeze it or something.
Apart from that silly oversight, quite a good movie. Very impressive FX, but that’s hardly a surprise. Was surprised to see Wolverine actually killing people, assumed there would be more of the “grunt/flash of metal/off-screen yell of pain” sort of thing. But no, that first guy he pinned him to the refrigerator but good.
Big fan of Colossus.

Not to mention the silly ending of "She could have been saved!" "But she made a choice" What, a choice to die when she could have saved everyone and still lived? Sounds like a smart choice there.

clearly it's Rogue's fault

He spent some time as one of Magneto's Acolytes, but he was always an X-man at heart.
And for the guy who thinks Maverick and Gambit are the same guy, Maverick is one of the Weapon X boys (like Wolverine and Sabertooth)

i always thought colossus wore metal armour to protect himself from psychic powers and such but i guess it was just his armour ability he used like in the film.

Dunno about Wolverine movies, but I've heard that the director is willing to keep on making X-Men movies for as long as they'll pay him to do it (X4, X5...)

Well the X Men has lots of things they could do, and lots of storylines to exploit. Just so long as they don't do to it what they did to the Batman franchise (which was severely tainted after Burton left)
