Olympians Announcement
AD-Announcement
Olympians HC hereby announce, that from today Olympians will not be playing Planetarion anymore.
The reasons for this are numerous.
Our members were mostly made up of veterans in this game, and as has been seen around the PA-Community, a lot of veterans are leaving the game. This has probably cost our alliance more than other alliances. We have lost almost 50% of our members to retirement. And since most of our HC are retired now, or are retiring after this round, we feel, that now is the time to disband Olympians.
We have had a couple of hectic rounds, but it has been a pleasure for us to participate.
HC will do our best to help our talented members, who are still playing, into the alliances, they want to. If your alliance have a home for some, please PM an Olympians HC in #olympians.
We wish everyone the best of luck for the future of the new "planetarion", and hope that Jolt and the Creators can improve on their "new game", so that it will be as big a succes as the original game.

I want to thank everyone that has played with Olympians last 2 rounds. It sure was a tough, but nice time. Also the ones who left for various reasons, thnx for the good weeks, months we had together.
Sadly its pretty hard these times for an alliance to be set-up and succeed. Together with our 4 allies R9 we have managed to get thinsg going, tho in a hard way. Wich all reflected on the round after. But imo it wernt useless rounds. We have got to know new people, trained new PA players, had great nights, had frustaring nights. But it sure kept us busy.

OMG! I expected alliances to disband, but not at all that Olympians would. Had a great time in Olympians. Thanks for everything, the players and especially the HC!

However as you say, the ones that still want to play planetarion,
I really hope they find a new, good home and carry on playing.

contrary to its outcome- i dont think i have ever been happier with a block i was in then VOM
oly (and madcows though irrelivant to this thread) made it more then just a military alliance- we had fun!

Webby was a good friend, but not a good HC. To say that oly went downhill when he left is highly inacurrate and a testament to your ignorance on Webby, and the inner-workings of oly. He was better at other things, but too emotional to be a good HC. Hopefully, if WebAngel reads this, he won't take it too personal, but oh well.

I had a good deal of respect for Olympians and even considered closing my alliance down a round earlier just so I could join them for my last 'proper' round.
It was a pleasure to work with Oly for a brief period at the end of round 9.
Some of our 'allies' took great pleasure in completely ignoring myself and my colleagues, but the Olympian representatives were always helpful and polite.
For that I owe them my thanks and respect.

Nyways, reminiscing pre-round9 preparation. I rate Oly as one of the top alliance, if not the best potential-wise before that round starts. Bunch of quality players. A sad announcement indeed.
