.. agree with me, that the amount of sl and glx jokes have sunk alot the last mounths?

there is two difrent options for this.. the first one beeing, that we have grown up and gotn mature - thinking jokes like that is for children. not likely. so what happend is: old people have left, and new people dont know what sl or glx is.

but when i look at the boards (that be ad or pd) now days, i see some of the 'old guys' posting again.. one off them beeing 1980 (-:

so.. whats your idea, off why the sl and glx jokes disapered?

because most people were sick of the jokes several rounds ago. Plus sl seems like a long time ago in a galaxy far away etc

Round six was the nail in the coffine for glx.. They had for 'long' been on a straight upwards, with a new website, new banner on the forums, a notice on the motd and even a war on Discordium.. To bad they couldnt live up to what they was trying to do, and the universe finaly got their provment of the 'noobity' of glx, that they so long had been waiting on..

have to agree here, ad has seen a massive decline in threads and posts, and even what ad used to be like, with constant flamming and arguing, twas much better then, and the flame was or "mocking" was certanly much better than it is now. hopfully things will improve as the round moves along

AD has evolved
the posters (well some anyway) have grown up and are not so childish and petty as to constantly flame another alliance/player.
nowdays its done in a more formal matter, you gotta keep your wits about you

AD is also more boring then before, between the flames there was some interesting information to read between the lines, and the flames where better :P

ad has evolved into one of the most boreing forums i read. in my opinion anyway.

the posters have grown up....some have yes, but the ppl who used to post on this forum hardly post any more and i still see idiots and ppl acting childish on every thread. and if all u seen was constant flame aimed at alliance's and players on here then i must say u never had your wits about u back then

Cambell seems to have understod my point of this thread, though it might have seamed a bit unclear.. What i miss when reading is some fun, some humor, some irony and at last some good posts.. Good old Duke Leto could atleast serve us with some of that, and his sharp humor is some of what i miss the most on this forum nowdays.. Its good to se that there is some old-timeres around here, and I have even seen Shadown1980 some places.. And thats allways a good thing.. Anyhow.. Would it be to much to ask for some humorus posts, as I know I cant make them my self..
