Its not that the competition sucks, its simply that they are near-sighted. Exil proved how to beat 1up. twice. Noone has attempted to follow this example.

But but even 1up players got those!
Yes, and the funny thing is, the guys who have planet naps then get incomings from Insomnia, xVx, SubH, or ND (or a combination of these). Never been much of use, eh?

That's because no alliances apart from exilition and 1up have the abilities to "control" other alliances with their political suggestions and to "fight" devastating wars with a length of 2 weeks or more. And to be honest I seriously doubt there will be more alliances like exilition and 1up simply due to a lack of people interested in running such alliances.

I might have to second you on this one, to an extent. Fighting long wars is an absolute drag to alliance military staff, and a lot of political power comes through proven military superiority. In any case, solely assigning fleets for attacks is heavy manual labour, running relaunches and retaliations, and tactical strikes takes a lot of more time. Then, a lot of members are very much after 24/7 defence command coverage, which also drains a lot of resources. A lot of people are interested in being parts of such, and expect to be served as in parts of such, but a little people are interested in contributing to such.

I would have to disagree with the lack of people interested in running such alliances... More of a question of having the right key criteria to having an
alliance similar to 1up and exil
A good combination of Command/Calibre of members/Tech is needed.

well the main problem is that ppl got some odd respect for them
even allies like f-crew can take them down if they tried s bit harder

The problem is the "if they tried a bit harder" part. I think almost everyone could beat everyone in this game, it is just that most of today's players simply cannot be assed to dedicate themselves 24/7 to a browsergame. Frankly, most people with jobs prefer their sleep and enjoy spare time out in the world over winning an online game which means absolutely nothing in life.

I have disagree on this one Bud... you would assess battle before you commit to it.... As Sun Tzu said " Therefore, compare them by means of calculation, and determine their statuses".
However I am sure f-crew could do it if they had enough help from other allies. But as I said you must do your homework first matey
Assess Doing battle before commiting to it.
