Biggest Nuisance
This is a question to every command member of every size, shape and type of alliance in PA. Members could have an input but I'm mostly aiming this at HC's/BC's/MO's who had to deal with defence on a frequent basis during round 8.
Which planet (or planets) was the biggest nuisance for you this round? Which planet did you have to cover incoming from everyday? Did any planets purposely launch on you just to be a nuisance?
These are the planets that attacked you so often it envoked a "Not him AGAIN" response from your fellow command members.
In my personal experience it's the bigger planets that you notice more because they have bigger fleets and are harder to cover.
(Posted in AD, but possibly PD material, so feel free to move as you, the mods, see fit).
[I think it belongs here :] ~pia]

'soz mates, incoming eta 6'
and that 6 times a day.

Ketchup was the biggest pain for me, not just because of his size, but because of the way he attacked - he would attack with another 4/5 planets, all of which would be big xans (and I think occasionally a big zik), and when you have about 300mil worth of planets incoming, it takes a lot to cover, and the eta 6 means it gets rid of all your fighters and corvettes (from those who could overburn).
Basically, every xan was a pain to cover, as eta 6 (or eta 5) means that the only defence useful half the time is fighters, and it seemed to me that most people went Xan this round, or at least most big people.

Servuz and Sliekas sending large ETA7 attack fleets with several smaller escorts, pulling the tick it was covered, then resending somewhere else a couple of ticks later with different escorts. I never quite got the point of this, they wasted more E than us, and we always pulled the excess def once they recalled.
Nonetheless it was still fking annoying.

Kileman definately deserves a mention simply for attacking Parra every day.
Eternal flame and TTTT (before he died) were also rather pesistent.

40:8:8 was the most annoying planet this round by far. Everyday it would launch multiple attacks against us or allies, and everyday we would try and smush it. Both ways fail. Considering the massive waste of E over this planet, its quite amazing. But we did smush the planet in the end, I got about 700 roids off it. Still an annoying sob though. That and there would be someone different commanding the planet every week ;/

I was going to post in this thread naming you as my most annoying enemy for taking 700 roids off me
I'm not quite sure how I managed to get such an evil reputation, since I thought I had been quite inactive this round. I'm not quite sure why you thought that there was more than one person controlling the planet, though I guess my rather odd sleep patterns might have accounted for that

I was a bit annoyed to lose roids to you, but I guess it was only fair after r6 . My galaxy wasn't great, especially as Theamion quit about a week after I joined the galaxy (I self-exiled from a galaxy which was even worse  ).
My 'most annoying' planet would probably be 22:7:10, just for having such an ungodly number of FI though.

There was this guy in c33 who was about 20mil who attacked one of our members 6 days in a row, 3 times a day, with a small escort planet of 2.5mil. That was annoying as hell. We later took mucho roids off the escort planet though

I think i was probably the biggest "nuisance" in my alliance (an average of 3/4 incomings a day for a <2mil planet- peaking at 12 4/5mil attackers when i was barely 1mil) but i more than made up for it with my general loveableness

if you just said that was you i would've kept my planet and played it back you git.
Anyway i restarted and ended up in 31:3 and that was far better. It seems that my old planet ended up in Kileman's gal. That one hasnt been deleted yet for some odd reason.

Unfortunately Hicks assumes everyone to have a copy of Fury's memberlist, and to know the exact status of each Fury planet before posting on AD. Otherwise they are 'stupid'.

Indeed, he moved to Fury at the same time as Lockhead, about a month ago.
I'd have thought considering the number of battles fought there or the fact Scouse posted a big list of each planet's alliances that people would have a decent idea who the Top 10 were. Too much to ask for people to even read the forums ?

You think when doing mass t10 launches most people know the nick of the person they send at, let alone their alliance? If it wasn't my job to know these things, I wouldn't give a flying **** if I was lanching at Star-Erazor, Sliekas, Kileman or Sid. I would put the faith in my alliance command to send me at a suitable hostile target, I dont need to know his name, alligieance or timezone. Not to mention that many launches on him were done when he was FAnG, not Fury.

To read/memorise every single thread, yes.
To assume every piece of information posted by another alliance is correct, yes.

[ND]Vader was the most annoying. Just about every night or so, his gal m8 would come and as for defense for him. Ofc, it would be a few k pegs/dems coming as he never bothered with anti-de ships. He drained our def quite a bit.

IE was quite anoying. Organising a raid as BC on a top ten planet and when a recall was ordered he himself stayed alone and lost all of his fleet. With 1k roids on 2-3 m planet he became a bit juicy and had incoming about 5 or 6 times a day but actually he never lost a roid after that and even gained a few.
Strangly enough losing your entire fleet seems a good thing as he ended up becoming HC of rock. Clearly Rock HC aren't allowed to have decent fleet and need to suicide it first.

Perhaps you mean 54:6:5?
The planet you mentioned was tiny all round...only other typo would be my planet 56:4:5 and I was hardly active enough to be very annoying to anyone.

Surely you know by now anyone that people are unable to 'catch' are automatically deemed to be cheating in some way? Probably cos the majority of PA players these days are sheep who are carried by their alliance. Most of the decent players of the game have come and gone already.

as i was the biggest planet in my gal (which wasnt saying much as we got smashed continously.. weeee) there was that one guy in c32 (i think c32.. been so long i cant remember) that would scan me like 5 times a day. hoping to catch me offline.. and if he did he'd send the lousiest fleet at me. It took my fleet and not even a quarter of Maddix's fleet to cover me each time.. yet he'd continously scan/send. G-force wins my annoying tosser award for rd 8

Strangly enough losing your entire fleet seems a good thing as he ended up becoming HC of rock. Clearly Rock HC aren't allowed to have decent fleet and need to suicide it first.

Yes, he was the most annoying one for me this round, as I had to ingal def him half of the day against all those n00bies for weeks.

Wow. I haven't used these forums for a while, but now the temptation is really too great. Obviously lowering my score to below 1.9 Million was a tactic that was both well thought out and executed in a fashion bordering on perfection, since now all potential attackers were obviously going to be smaller than 10m and as such could be easily defended against. The fact that all of a sudden there were a lot more of these attackers is simply a detail and can be easily discarded as non-relevant.

for me the most annoying person was this alliance hc who said shed wipe me out for defending ingal..38:10:10 had allready been attacked twice if i remember correctly and i sent my fleet ..she claimed he had been rude to her, wouldnt accept my sayin well if he apologised, then claimed she would make my life misery and ruin my round..she counted me down to when she and her m8s were gonna launch on me tellin me when she launched she wouldnt withdraw , fact i was nos didnt worry her..needless to say she and her pals pulled ...nos defence rocks
the reason i really remember her is the attitude she had and the number of messages we sent to each other..more than 20 i think..i was told by my guys to stop sending after she refused my marriage proposal..
anyway she was a right pain..i was told by one of my alliance guys it was maya and if it was then darn, she was my boss in guild in previous round but anyways she was frustrating and as far as i remember she onlyu attacked me once but poor slayer received endless ob attacks..
oh yeah now ive put this please dont resume round 8

Hehe, that does sound like maya.
During round 6 the other FoS HC's would often complain about her abusive messages to their members

lol hi kore,
funnier still i went to guild from CeN.
tbh though when in guild and CeN, maya helped me along big style so its not a grumble or personal thing im just sayin this one planet was very aggrevating this round.
it may not have been her either anyways.
