It's pretty damned  actually. I can't think of a better way to spend a saturday afternoon than napalming some commies into oblivion (unless I end up NVA, in which case I concentrate on blowing tanks up with landmines and impaling hapless draftees on punji sticks as an engineer).

Lakhim: Tried it, didn't like it. Everything's too fast and random...Day of Defeat players like myself with their finely honed lightning reflexes, cautious movement and eagle-eye accuracy prefer games that are a bit slower. Onslaught and Assault are quite entertaining, though I'm not as keen on Onslaught as everyone else, because BFV is the same kind of game structure as is PlanetSide (which I got back in to at the start of the month).

The fundamental chnage came about when it was decided that instead of the Rlaying section simple being left to its own devices etc, but to invlve the modertors there in the actions of the forum team e.i. the admins, moderators etc. This also allowed for RP mod powers to be rasied to that of normal moderators as well.

Two people is enough to have a blood feud, that's why they invented divorces. We've got enough for tonnes of feuds here.
Come to think of it, we've already got tonnes. They're just so complicated that frequently you find yourself on both sides.

zappa is still around, somewhere and occasionally he posts, badger at times appears in IRC but i haven't seen him post since, well, quite some time ago
oh and people who respect cheesy as he is now, should go see a doctor. The old cheesy was respectable, despite his flaming on several occasions, but cheesy as he is now deserves only a good ol' slapping
