I can't actually access the portal from my university's network, for some reason. Actually, it immediately closes down the page as soon as I access it. It's happy with me and the forums, but not with the portal. Therefore, I can't get fixed for all this passport malarky.

Have you tried accessing it through http://passport.planetarion.com instead of http://www.planetarion.com ?

define 'cuts out' cos i've never seen any problems with it using numerous PCs at work (proxied and firewalled to hell) or at home under my over secure setup.
