McLeish has been effectively sacked since October, I think I'm vindicated.

Re: [Football] Who Will Be Sacked First (Rd 2)
Newcastles current Coaches arent included as theyre acknowledged as Caretakers. Likewise , McLeish isnt included as hes officially gone now.
If anyone thinks any of the options up there are unrealistic, and want a replacement, and can justify said individual , ill consider altering the poll.

McLaren out!
It's gotta be a near dead heat between him and McCarthy.

Re: [Football] Who Will Be Sacked First (Rd 2)
I doubt it will be McCarthy. He has the support of the players, and whilst there is a vocal section of the fanbase who are against him, they're not the majority by some distance.
In addition, Mick and our dear, dear chairman wouldn't have had a kiss and make up moment over Mick's perfectly accurate comments if he was planning to sack him a week later.

Re: [Football] Who Will Be Sacked First (Rd 2)
Redknapp won't go. Neither will McCarthy or Ferguson.
I don't know who Lambert is as I care not a bit about Scottish turd football. I'd have voted Bernard Cribbins had I actually read his name rather than ignored it.

no squad?
no cash?
Have you seen how many signings we've made since the end of last season?
We've got a squad that's top 6 championship on paper.
Gerrard - Ex Everton and Oldham (premiership) Goalie
Breckin and Eaden - half of Wigans promotion winning defence
Cullip - regular for Shef Utd for many seasons
Morgan - Looked as good as Dawson when they played together
Padula - Regular LB for QPR last season
Commons - Looked like he would be amazing last year
Holt - Played for Norwich in premiership last season
Friio - one of Plymouth's best ever players (I know it's not saying much but hey)
Clingan - new buy from Wolves
Lester - A decent championship striker
Tyson and Holt - Were top scorers in League 2 this season
Plus Bennett, Southall, Thompson (Irish international), Curtis, Perch, Bopp, Dobie, Gardner, Bastians have all played quite regularly.
Not to mention Johnson and Taylor (who's now been shipped of to Crewe after falling out with Megson)
Not a bad squad for a league 1 side really.
We've spent more money, got a higher wage bill and have one of the biggest squads outside the premiership. Megson is the highest paid manager outside the premiership and yet we still play shite week after week and are midtable in a shit league.
There's talk of a protest this weekend which won't happen but give it a couple more bad losses and he will be under a hell of a lot of pressure.

Re: [Football] Who Will Be Sacked First (Rd 2)
should have voted mclaren tbh, they arent going to get rid of mick until the end of the season as no one else will want to be associated with a team thats going to be relegated. if boro go into the drop zone mclaren might get it in the neck though. but we shall see :/

If Megson knew the meaning of "4-4-2" and "attack" you should probably win the league with that

I can't see most of them being fired unless their form gets even worse, they just seem to get on with the chairmen too well. Maybe McLaren if they go out of Europe and Birmingham pass them.

In comparison to most teams in the league, they are the Chelsea of League 1.
Forest have spent 1million on 2 players in jan.
Port Vale (my team) have sold 350k worth, and spent 20k all season:/
Yus its depressing (

I still maintain to this day, that nobody has ever seen you wearing a Port Vale shirt, and your loyalty to the team is "Questionable"
We need Proof Mr Wintle. And now!

I dont really see football shirts as "fashion" unless im actually going a football match, or maybe doing exercise.
As for my loyalty, ive been more away/home matches than ive missed this season. I went Forest and saw us lose 1-0 to a Tyson goal
Nice ground, with the best chant being "YOUR NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE!?!?!?"

ooh how original, did you think that up all by yourselves?
you may have left the words under the seats in the away end though because EVERY ****ER WHO PLAYS US SINGS IT.

On a side issue, how is your 1 million strike partnership doing?

one's injured/suspended. The other scored again yesterday so that's 5 goals from 5 shots so far this season.
