so i'm wondering what alliance
or alliances have enough that they can launch 120 planets at a galaxy, and not feel the slightest bit of guilt for destroying the whole round of 25 players?

Probably not a single alliance, more likely a BG.
My money would be on the rejects that are Dragons.

Why should they feel guilt for attacking a hostile target?
Riddle me this!

no..
they should however feel guilty for sending waves eqiv to 12 consecutive ticks there, and pretty much destroying any hope that galax had of being anything but a roid farm for the rest of the round

I hate to say it, but most people don't feel any guilt at having a successful attack. If we did, we'd all be very guilty people.

Its a war game, the aim is to 'kill' the enemy. Besides how do you ruin a round for 25 players when the round is less than 2 weeks old? Not exactly hard to rebuild at the moment, unless you take the attitude you appear to have adopted.

i don't have a problem with roiding targets..
not a fan of obliterating them..
didn't like it when we did it to everyone in r8, and i don't like people doing it to players now

there are no morals in this game with people who want to win.

100 roids can be scanned in 1-2 days, average player has about 200-300 atm. If the incoming does not stop then its a different story, but a single night of lots of incoming is hardly the end of anyones round so early on. This is the attitude that got VoM beaten so quickly in R9.

we are talking about random galaxies, with loads of people in galaxies that will become less active after some rapings or even give up playing at all.
I am not saying that attacks like this are the origins of all evil but I am not agreeing with you that it will not badly damage/criple an average galaxy in a random universe for the entire round.

if you are referring to 46:3 (i am just looking at pilkara to check what was owned etc) that wasn't a coorperated attack that was inparallel and 2 bg's at them and people in participating gals in P launching after galmates etc.
But which **** doesnt run his fleet?
Sorry but if you lose your fleet you deserve your round to be ****ed.

Have you considered it might not just be a big BG/alliance, and that the galaxy in question may just have been unlucky and had attacks planned by numerous BGs/Alliances, without knowledge of the others?

Exactly what happened to my target last night. Fortunately I was the first to launch so I got 2 ticks in before the rest arrived...just in time to meet the defence

I was piggybacked the other day too, which actually resulted in the favour of my target - he lost only 7% roids per tick due to overkill fleet... which consisted of 2 normal roiding fleets.

Im afraid to say I feel little remorse when i've roided a target.
I would feel slight remorse if I completely destroyed someones fleet but not if it was a simple roiding and a few ships died.

So you and your friends got a small hit early in the round. Same happens to newbies all troughout the round, specially later on. That's why they stop playing...so stop bitching about it and don't crush any newbies to regain your roids....

Sounds like an excellent attack to me.
And ifIf they demoralize you to such an extent as they apparently have, it's even better for them since they wont have to worry about any retaliation either.
