Re: the horde recruiting
So basically you're a recruitment and development pool for new players so that the big alliances can eventually "steal" those members from you once they're up to speed
Good initiative though for new players.

Re: the horde recruiting
Na I think they'll remain in horde once they are experienced. Building up a new ally from scratch ftw! Done with too big ego players and emos all around.
A great alternative for a summer round

Re: the horde recruiting
some will stay, most will prolly leave for top allies, thats true
but like korsan said, this is an attemp to build up the community with some new players, build up from scratch
and a place for a summer round also, to share your knowledge and play it easy
the more exp ppl join to share knowledge, the better it will work out

That happens to new alliances, but you can build a nice smallish core and build from that, in the end some of those that left will come back.
Good luck Mo

It's very noble, I hope it works. I know how hard it is to start an alliance from scratch. I've done it once. The alliances I formed afterwards were usually a merger (FA and nG --> FAnG or Angels --> Core of FAnG), which isn't easy either but you do have a decent memberbase to work with.
Must be alot harder these days as there are alot less new players, and most current players have pledged their loyalty elsewhere or are opportunists (nothing wrong with that though).

True, if you can build up a decent core then those will always stick around and be loyal.

Re: the horde recruiting
If you do set up an open channel I would be more than happy to idle in it and help people out if they needed it, Ive done the whole new player alliance thing before and it can be quite fun.
Good luck and like I said, I'd be more than happy to help a little by answering a few questions here and there if you set it up.

Re: the horde recruiting
question: have you had any new players contacting you from various jagex games? Have there been more signups so far for this round compared to last round? ( ofc there will be a few more, since its a MT round! but more than that? )
oh, and gl!

i dont notice a big chunk of new players yet, but then again there is several alliances this round recruiting new players, so i cant really say
but i am surprised how hard it is to recruit from scratch
it was so easy back in r4
anyhow, the horde is here, to teach some fellows and to have a fun round for our seniors

Re: the horde recruiting
starting an new alliance in a summer round doesnt help much, considering how many less people play in summe rounds.
