Ascendancys dominance of the top rankings was merely a result of a huge block pounding on apprimes top planets all round long. This allowed ascendancy to claim top ranks, but ultimately lacking the quality to get enough score to win alliance. A 50 man alliance with little incs and superior quality should easily overcome a 65man alliance fighting the universe dont you think?
