Re: Bsg
Oooooh... Battlestar galactica...
Yea, I saw that episode too. I'm sad because the next episode will be in late Januari.
Does anyone else have this weird feeling that this whole BSG series seems to have this Hebrew exodus reference kind of plot. But instead the roles are swapped around, where not the slaves are on the run but the (former) masters.
The humans in search of their "holy land", prosecuted by the cylons. The difference in religion, one god, multiple gods. I'm still wondering why they reference Greek mythology. Perhaps that would make the reference too obvious.
Stiil, an awesome series.

A lot of the original BSG, and thus many elements of the remake, were based upon Mormon theology. The remake changed many things around, however, and certainly the relative merits of the humans the cylons have changed from the seventies.

Re: Bsg
I was worried Moore and Eick were just going to phone in the third season (six of the first eight episodes just weren't very good imho and some were awful), but it's picking up again.

What?!
Exodus Pt. 2 is ****ing amazing, including everything up till then. The first two that had nothing to do with New Caprica did remind me a lot of the horrible 'blackmarket' from Season 2 (the stealth ship mission one and the boxing one).

Re: Bsg
Series three has been average with a couple of highlights: Exodus part two and i really enjoyed Unfinished Business. I don't think it's lived up to the first series or the pilot/mini-series. I hope Gaius gets back somewhere close to his old self, he isn't half as fun as he used to be.. but i guess being an outcast and thought of as a traitor will do that to a fellow.
Still enjoying it though!

I thought the season opener and Exodus Pt. 2 were excellent but everything else (up to The Passage) was mediocre to boring with Hero and Unfinished Business being just plain awful. However, the last two episodes were excellent and hopefully BSG is now back on track. Even the best series can have a bad episode or two but I was starting to get worried.

I didn't think the boxing episode was that bad.

Re: Bsg
I think it's all been a bit mediocre, except the miniseries which was excellent. There's far too much poorly presented filler.
