Exiling Flaw
Ok lads n lasses i would like you to discuss this
the rule stands as this
- Free & inactive planets are automatically exiled after 72 + (numer of previous auto exiles * 20) hours to C200+.
(we are all paid thus we are same as free?)
If a planet from ur gal who hasn't ever been auto exiled goes inactive for 72hrs they get exiled to c200
but
if an inactive planet is in your gal that has been auto exiled before they get an extra 20hr window to become active
Reasons for not loggin for 72hrs....whatever
Would u pick vac mode over gaining res from your planet for 72 ticks and getting exiled?
It seems we are forced into vac mode if u need to leave the game for 72+ and not have any advantage.
What do u think?

Re: Exiling Flaw
I believe that free planets are those that havent upgraded, if you have upgraded (which as you pointed out you can do for free) you can leave your planet for 72+ ticks. As I said if you upgrade theres no problems,

Re: Exiling Flaw
that rule applies to all planets including upgraded ones, as our gal found out kast night. One of our mates got exiled for being 72hrs inactive. We lost a fairly big planet.

Re: Exiling Flaw
Does the same apply for a BP? I would doubt it, but maybe it was implemented.

No, you don't get exiled if you go inactive and you're part of a buddy pack

Re: Exiling Flaw
And I was sure the masses were complaining when we didn't exile inactive upgraded accounts at the start of the round. Unfortunately, due to the way logic works in this world we can't have it both ways and as such features like vacation mode are there for those that wish to get around issues like this.

Would it be possible for an alternative form of vacation mode where you are open to attack but still gain resources, for situations like this?
The galaxy would be able to remove this protection through minister voting...

Or perhaps a galaxy's ministers should be able to flag planets for autoexiling.

This is a good idea. If you planned to go inactive you would want your gal mates approval first. Maybe make it a voting option for ministers to keep a planet even if it goes idle.
