Just got given a p3 hp laptop, is it hard to upgrade a latop?

What bits of it?

You can normally throw more/replacement RAM in them and chuck bigger hdd's at them without much trouble. DVD drives and the like are generally standard across a manufacturer's ranges so you might get luck and be able to find combo drives on Ebay or the like, normally a pull-out and replace effort though that varies. Might be able to do something with the battery, can throw USB accessories at it hassle-free.

any laptop is a hard to upgrade laptop, because you'll be hard pressed to find a new CPU and/or 3d card that'll fit into its confines without overheating the boxed up thing
