I have resolved to never go to that place. On a whim. I have never broken that resolution, despite living within 15 minutes of it and many of my friends making regular trips there.
I assume I haven't missed anything.

The CC is 'ace' these days, proving that if you chuck enough money at something, the impossible can happen (ignoring the NHS and Dome)

Pity everyones got to wait 10 odd years, given roadwork construction averages. And by then I think Britain will be at a standstill.

the centre of brum isnt THAT bad.
Although i had to use 'man instinct' to navigate the place last time because every route i knew into the centre had been diverted somewhere id never been before.
Hopefully this new toll will be rather rocking and free of congestion. im sick of sitting at a standstill for hours whenever i venture near or into brum during 'peak hours' :/

On the very few occasions that I have had to go to Brum for meetings etc, it was an experience that is best forgotten.
I now make a point of not going to or anywhere near the place.
My solution, when a meeting is required in Birmingham, I send someone else.
Or feign off with the legendary "hospital/dentist/doctor's appointment"
