GD Meet #2
Someone mentioned another GD Meet in September.
Who's keen?
I'll be living just outside London then (as will Ste, I think?).
I can't travel too far, as money will be a factor until I get paid at the end of September.
So.
Put your name down plzthx.

I'll be in sunny Holland, staying away from you freaks.
No really, I do not see why I would want to travel that far for a pint, I mean if you lot lived around the corner I might go into town to meet up for a beer, but otherwise, I do not think so.

I'd love to but:
(a) I don't drink.
(b) I'm a bit of a quiet person.

Re: GD Meet #2
London is too costly in terms of fuel / train / accom and most importantly time etc etc...
If it was somewhere closer to home (i.e. west midlands territory) then id be more tempted to say 'yes' and then not turn up (lolz)

Almost no chance of me turning up, wherever it is, as I am totally broke at the moment. Unless someone pays for my alchomahol, accomodation, food, and travel. Which they won't.

Re: GD Meet #2
You guys ****ing suck.
Well seeing as the only people in London will be people earning, perhaps we could push the venue a bit more northerly (and the date to some time in October or November).

Re: GD Meet #2
can we organise a mini-meet for september?
There'll be at least 7 of us in the area who are interested and plenty more who aren't too far away.
One weekend in september - Me, TK, Dante, T&F, Blasto, Deepflow, Pig for a start. NB said he was interested. Yahwe isn't far away.
Oh and for the scottish - www.flybmi.com do a return trip to London from Glasgow for £16 plus tax.
EDIT and easyjet do a return from Glasgow for £35 including taxes!

Yeah, with all you lot i should find a floor/couch to sleep on somewhere
Plus if you make it the arse-end of sept, i can book a train in advance that won't cost a fortune to get down there. (equally, i just got a tax rebate, so maybe i'll travel first class )

Count me in, as long as it's nearer to the end of October/beginning of November. Before then I'll just be too busy in Cardiff to come.

I'm moving down on Wednesday.
I have no idea how much notice I'll need - I won't be able to drink in the week though, and I'm expecting to be half-broke for the first month I'm there
Who are you living with? Where are you living? etc

If there were a few people going I could probably get down within one day, just need time to book a train ticket and find somewhere to crash. As I have nothing planned except for the weekend of the16th and then from the 28th onwards for uni anything different would be really welcome at this point.

yeh. well, used it to find a flat... the flatmates were already living there. It's quite expensive though, but the landlady is amazingly nice and the flats pretty good too. 10 mins walk to work
Are you still looking for somewhere?

Re: GD Meet #2
Ok, I wandered around Croydon for a few hours today and there are SO many pubs I want to sample. (and a rock bar too ) as well as about 3 wetherspoons and other cheap chain pubs there are loads of real ale pubs to enjoy. And a massive music shop.
So. Croydon - this saturday - England match followed by a pub crawl. WHO'S WITH ME???
