Re: No Man Should Have to Laugh This Hard
I assumed it was an ironic comment, pointing out that people think they are cool for joining SA and seeing things first, when really it doesn't matter.

Or i could save my :10bux: and not be forced to lurk on a community where every word i say would be torn to shreds by 200 "Winnars" whose sole motivation in life seems to be to come up with new ways of saying "Cock".
And since SA regs frequently go showing off their E-Penis' on other forums, im bound to see something from SA within but a few days anyway.

Alas dear Mark , im all too familiar with what SA is like, since i have access to someone elses account. And im pretty certain the above statement is an accurate representation of the sheer volume of "Internet Elitists" that live on that forum.

You know, it really depends on the subforum that you're reading. You really don't get much of that in, say, SAS or Games. Obviously not none, but there's sufficient sensible discussion to drown it out.

Re: No Man Should Have to Laugh This Hard
I've only looked at SA a couple of times, and it seemed pretty funny in some places. The sheer number of users and the fact it would take me ages to "place my mark" there enough to be taken seriously deters me from it though.
Stuff like the MSPaint threads are pretty funny though - it'd be great to implement something like that here, but I never can think of a theme that's good enough

Re: No Man Should Have to Laugh This Hard
i read things in the comedy goldmine every now and again.
And read some threads in GBS when I'm very bored.
I like a lot of it. Some of it is just crap in-jokes but some is downright hilarious.

Really? They are meant to be pretty strict when it comes to acount sharing. I think perhaps you've been looking at the wrong threads though - the creative ones are always funny. I think the best part about being on SA is being able to contribute to SA.
