Basically its for students I think but for the first 3 months they pay half your line rental. What they do is a uni system I believe. So say you get the £30 a month tarriff thats £15 for the first 3 months, then 30 after that. What you also get is 900 units.

1 unit = text message

2 units = standard calls to UK
mobiles and fixed lines per
minute

3 units = picture and video messages

What they also offer is a "stretch" which is what attracted me, if your phone call is more than 6 units (ie a 3 minute phone call) it will only be charged at the price of the 3 minute call rather than at like 50 units. This part seemed particularly attractive to me. Seems rather decent to be honest. Ooh before I forget if you get stretch then you have to have the contract for 18 mnths rather than 12.

Thoughts?

Yeah sounds good.

So effectively, 1 unit = 3.33p

So each text is 3.33p
Each minute is 6.66p

Not bad.

The deal with minutes sounds a lot like Vodaphone's Stop the Clock, which is what I have (if you talk for more than 3 minutes and less than 60, it only charges you for the 3 minutes).

Not bad.

Some decent phones there. Won't the signal in most places be a bit crap though, as they aren't a big established phone company?
