Winter heating costs
Its that horrible time when its getting slightly warmer but not really that warm but you have to turn off the heating / put your heaters away.
Why?
because its winter gas and electricity bill time and you've been pulled back into the depths of poverty.
For December 1 -> March 12th, i got humped £170 or so what about everyone else

Re: Winter heating costs
My parent's pay the gas / electricity bills. I've not paid rent in 6 months either. I home for mother's day, home for the first time in months. I am envisaging a "happy reunion".

Re: Winter heating costs
dont have bills - have a pre payment meter .. no nasty surprises 4 time a year ..and i dont have gas .. just electricity.
i put £25 a week in, in the winter, so £100 a month, your looking at 2 1/2 months .. so £250.
I'd like your bill please :P

Re: Winter heating costs
It was 80 f. today. I have been sleeping at night with the window open so as not to get to warm.
California weather, ftw.

Re: Winter heating costs
My utility (gas + electric) bill was $300 last month. :/
I console myself with the fact that it's quite a bit less than Al Gore's monthly utility bill for his pool house.

Re: Winter heating costs
Don't pay any bills at the moment (hurrah for mooching) but our Elec / Gas bills for winter last year were about £240 per month. It's hard to work out how much of that was down to space heating - the central heating system didn't work in numerous rooms so people used elec heaters / leave the ligths on / etc to keep the place warm.

Re: Winter heating costs
I live at home at the moment (moving back to Bergen in 5 months), so I don't have to worry about those bills. I don't use heating at home anyway, it's not that cold. It's not like I'll die of freezing a little either.

Re: Winter heating costs
I don`t have bills either; just pre-payment meters for gas and electricity; the house I live in has had a history of "non payment". It`s usually about £10 to £20 per week for gas, but in a freezing winter a shocking £5 per day; though this is shared between how many people are living in the house at the time.
