Phang supports a team which has a strong rivalry with Hearts, which is currently manifesting itself as jealously since they are doing a lot better than [his team], and have beaten them soundly on several occasions this year, including in a game played just over a week ago (lol).

As to whether they are 'good', it depends what standard you want to use. Theyve been one of the best teams in Scotland this season, but that isnt saying very much.

to learn the offside rule you must:

- find a greasy spoon cafe (preferably populated full of fat cockneys)
- pepper pots
- salt shakers
- other condiment holders.

Only until this point can you understand the offside rule.

No, it's just the best way of properly understanding it

Think of it like understanding pass interference in American Football, just harder. However it's vital to the game since it stops players just hanging around a few yards from the goal ('goal-hanging'). If you grow up understanding offside, or even the rules of cricket, it's pretty obvious (or was until the recent changes) - but I guess for an outsider it's a bit more difficult.

Thats how I try and teach women, they still dont get it I think its because when I show them that its onside if hes not in play, yet hes offside by the old rules they get confused, blokes can sit there for hours talking about the offside rule, love it or hate it, its what sets us apart from women and the americans.

The reason women don't understand the offside rule is because the men that teach it to them explain it really badly, more often than not. It's a very simple rule.

when theres fewer then 2 ppl between you and the goal on the opponents half whilest someone behind you plays the ball to your general direction, then you are given offside.

they changed it a bit last year but just ignore that

Sometimes I think, wouldn't it be easier just to scrap the offside rule?

Then I thought this would be a benefit to Ruud Van Horse and instantly dismissed it.

Why video can't be brought in with certain rules I don't know.

They tried an instant replay system in the NFL in 1999 and have kept it. It's part of the offical rules where each team get's to challenge a ruling via video, but if the ruling fails they lose a time out.
