With the speed game announced and (the normal) rumours abound of the game ending, is there any chance that we can have a deadline or rough time (at least) of round closure.
Are the speed games and regular game gonna run simultaneously?

Speedgames and regular games will run simultaneously.

At time of posting (26 July) I'd say we're about half way through the current round, so about 4 weeks to go.
A date for the end of the round will be announced when it is decided which depends on universe situation and the status of the next round.
