Planetarion Forums - The possibility of having alliance chat threads

I know it sounds maybe abit redundant as we have mIRC but I would love for the forums to have a forum for chat threads for the alliances. People previously connected and currently connected to the alliance could chat about things they wanted to chat about and could keep contact even if they werent able to be on irc.

The ingame forum is an okay option for most allies but this gets deleted every round.

I wonder if its possible to make a forum for this?

I think he means something like the ng gallery reply system. allowing ppl to post short messages and present it in an irc-like manner for 'slow-chat'. Afaik that is not allowed on AD.

I don't see why it wouldnt be, after all was that not what the old TFD thread used to be, or what about the old IPC one, or the old ND one. Infact most alliances used to have a thread which wasnt recruitment, wasnt about a specific topic but was a general place for the alliance members and old members to talk

That's not the point - he has supermod powers but sticks to modding PD and Suggestions on a day-to-day basis.

However, I'll link lokken to this thread for him to make a decision. Nevertheless, I'd prefer to create a new forum for the spammy alliance chat threads rather than changing the nature of AD.
