Re: Apart from Amazo...
CD WOW annoyed me a month ago pab - I ordered Eminem's Encore album, took 3 weeks to come despite endless no. of emails and then eventually I get a box stating it's from Hong Kong - good one and the CD had scratches on it - but how can I prove that I haven't touched it? I can't - fs.
Anyway, I now use Play.com a lot

Re: Apart from Amazo...
i never used anything but amazon. book prices are fixed here anyway (don't ask ) and they throw in a free delivery. thats why i signed up years ago, since then i used them for dvds aswell, because im just too lazy to signup anywhere else just for a few cents

Re: Apart from Amazo...
Amazon is the best.
Although before Christmas I ordered myself a Poker set and Sims 2. When it was delivered Sims 2 box was cracked and bits of plastic fell off it. It has been crushed underneath my poker set L. I am pretty sure it was DHL who delivered it. They gave the package to my next-door neighbour – without notifying me.
Anyway, I came to the conclusion that postal services were very busy before Christmas so things are bound to get crushed. At least the same works.

Re: Apart from Amazo...
I look around between Amazon, CDWOW (I have a link to a permanent 75p off voucher somewhere...might post if I find it...) and then compare to the HMV/Fopp websites and I'll go to the shop if it's cheaper (which HMV is often when they have sales, and Fopp is generally for some CDs)

I've had a similar problem on a couple of occassions, where CDs would take weeks to complete, but then other times I've had them come pretty rapidly. Most of my Xmas shopping and post-loan splurging was done on Play mind.

Aye - I now follow the same path you do
Rumour has it though, the easy franchise (you know, easyJET, easyCAB/CAR etc.) as well as having plans for easyCINEMA (no food drinks sold there, barely any stuff = cheap prices - like £1-£2) there's going to be easyMUSIC - hopefully that should shudder all other stores with prices etc.

PLANS for easycinema? we've had it for a good two years now. the latest one is easypizza, which is actually REALLY ****ING AWESOME.
