MACROS - IS NO LONGER WITH RVN. I have left the alliance in the hands of Rumbles and trentin and Bezz if they want it. I think this alliance was a great project . It is a shame that i see it go but i am moving on to better things. I will keep on updating this thread on behalf of revolution or ask for it to be deleted if need be and recommmend this alliance to anyone as long as it sticks true to the way it was heading. I had fun with you all and it is a shame i am going - in some ways
In The Beginning
The Revolution Story
Revolution is an alliance that was started by two friends from the real world. These friends were round at a mates house when one suddenly remembered this great game that they use to play. The other one was amazed as the very night before he was struggling to remember the name of this other great game he use to play. It turned out to be the same game. So at this revelation we signed up to planetarion. I was one of those friends in question. We started this alliance together and have made a lot of progress in my opinion, although we started very late. This round (Round 12) was a test for our alliance so that we could build a Command we know and trust. We have been through a lot together already and because we started small we have become good friends. Although we dont have the great stories of some big alliances we are here to make our history. Come be part of it.
Revolutions Objectives
Revolution have quite a few objectives but here is a few important ones:
1. To have fun - whats the point in playing a game if you aint having fun
2. To become the best
3. To maintain strong links between members as friends and allies
4. To have fun - Really important
5. To make sure our enemies are down and stay down
6. To maximise communication - Because through communication comes strength
A lot of people think that it is impossible to reach the top with out being completely professional. I however disagree. I feel that professionalism and seriousness is needed
but there has to be a limit otherwise why come home from work or school.... you would have made more money staying there (at work) and had as much fun.
What Revolution Can Do For You?
So Here is the part you have all been waiting for what can Revolution do for you:
- We can offer you protection from other players within and out of the alliance
- If you are attacked we will organise an attacks on your attackers. Every attacker who attacks Revolution is added into our "Black Book" to make sure no attack on us is left unanswerred
- A chance to attack larger players and other players with your allies
- A chance to gain more asteroids and XP
- Places to communicate to fellow allies quickly and efficiently. so that defense is there the tick you need it and so that attacks are run "ship shape"
- An opportunity to voice your opinions in the forums, decisions are not made by the commanders. They are made by the alliance through Forums because Forums are where decisions are made by the majority - not the minority. We do however understand that in some situations (one being defences) quick and precise action is needed.
- An experience like no other where by your fellow allies will make you laugh.Your alliance is not just an alliance, its a community in which you can develop strong links and friendships.
Are there any Requirements For Joining Revolution?
Yes there are. There isn't many but you must meet the following:
- Be active - This is a must!!!
- Be on IRC - No player that applies for Revolution for round 13 will be accepted without first meeting myself, Haggis or any op in our public channel #nnrvn
- You must take part in defences and attacks
- You must want to have some fun, a laugh and generally just a good time while playing planetarion - remember its a game
- You must want Revolution to do good.
All these Requirements are common sense for an alliance and so most of you out there will be able to meet them easily.

Round XIII is going to be an interesting round. Revolution are looking for players of all ages, races (both in game and out) and from all experience levels. We are here to help you grow, from the biggest players to the smallest. There is power in numbers. We aren't as Big or as old as the stronger alliances but everyone starts somewhere.
