Happily no snow, no disruption, a mild, relatively clear day on the south coast.

It's snowing North, South, East and West of Carlisle but not here.
It's probably a good thing

Dont look at me guvnor.
And the best is paid out based on whether its a white christmas LOCAL to where you are, so they have monitoring centres across the country. Glasgow and Nottingham were the first to officially declare White Christmases.

It's not like they set fire to the money. They give it out to people you know...
You just seem to be siding with the bookies (large corporations) over the punters (individual people, often with not much money)

Re: The bookies won't be happy!
For those of you who live in the south east (like myself) - don't fret! Although we missed out on snow this christmas, we are likely to get more in Jan (if the long range forecasts stay on course). A siberian easterly is looking like it might push into west europe in mid-late Jan. If this happens (and it does from time to time) not only will the south east be the coldest place in the UK it will potentially be the coldest of the winter (easterly winds are colder than northerly winds), and because the south-east is the most exposed we will get most of the snow and most of the cold (remember 2 years ago?)
Then we can laugh at those northerners

If your toilet randomly overflowed giving you your money back plus some extra i'm sure people would try that Koen.
