It is with great sadness I announce the closing of EDEN's role in Planetarion after 2 years.

This has been forced for a number of reasons:

* Retirement of several HC, after this round.
* An inability to gain the activity needed to move on to the next level.
* The tough environment of PA for smaller alliances to operate.

Many people may not have heard of us, many people will not care, but for those who do can I thank you for being friends of the alliance.

Our members over the last 5 rounds have been with us through alot and it i them I feel for most as us commanders shut down their home.

Channel #eden will remain for social purposes but the alliance as a whole is shutting, perhaps to be seen another day, perhaps not.

There will be no quick mergers that will lower the quality of the EDEN brand - better to finish it off quick than have it drag on.

EDEN still plays other games, see our website:

But for now - "Loyalty, Safety, Community" will be spoken for the last time on PA.

Sad to see you guys close down. Another alliance bites it, not really what PA need but the way things are now its hard to survive.

I dont want to seem like a graverobber or anything, but if you got members looking for new homes, then our doors is always open. We cant give any promises, but we are doing our best to turn those wheels around...

On behalf of the Eden members and personally i would like to thank Duke our chairman, our leader, our captain.

He has been an excellent role model throughout thick and thin in the past few years. He acts with profesionalism and pride and judges people fairly and equally.

As vice chairman of the Eden Group i am very sad to see Eden end like this. But the eden spirit lives on. Not in PA but in other games. #eden is still a thriving spot for Eden's friends and past members.

Maybe one day Eden will come back, who knows what future rounds of PA may bring us.

The very best of luck to all Eden members, and to all who game in these turbulent PA times

Something like this is always sad. Come back next round. Smaller alliances will have advantages over the bigger ones then. The universe will then be an entirely different place.

Thanks for the kind words from people around the game.

Simple fact is smaller alliances do struggle in the PA environment; I wish more than anything that the changes for round 10 will aid this scenario and perhaps old EDEN players can tell me the effect. But unless things change the incentive and the drive for smaller alliance members will diminish with every round.

Equally can I thank Tuck for his kind words - the running of EDEN has always been a collective operation; a team effort.

People like chef, bri, tuck, klondike, dark_reaper and even good old frodo and more have helped through the years - any alliance who gets these guys has done well.

As a HC in eden this time round, and a member of eden since rnd 4, I have to show my sadness that eden is finished. Maybe to be resurrected by an hc in the future, but not now.

I am sorry to see eden go, and if no other options persist I believe that EDEN and round 9 will be my last round of planetarion.
