You think having a paid account will make that much difference? You haven't even listed your skills / experience etc. Do you think the 'powerful' alliances scan the forums to recruit anyone who simply asks to join?

Also, one thing to consider is who you take offers from.

Granted you'd need to give a bit more information about yourself... but you alos need to look at who's offering.

For example, no disrespect to JOCD12 but he is new to the forums and you may want to accept an offer from a more established alliance and/or recruiter... such as Chef! who has been on the forums since 2001 and has posted 108 times... as opposed to JOCD12 who joined in 2004 and posted 5 times.

It is entirely up to you though.. it would all depend on what you were looking from in an alliance.
