well am sorry if i dont remember the whole in's and out's of every alliance that has been in pa. and if u noticed it was more of a question than a stament. and so no, the pa community has not changed cos most are ignorant fools, who will do anything in their power to flame ppl they dont know to make them self's look good. re-reading your post it might have ment that i know nothing....wish is true, have we met before?
crash tester - what i ment with that was "n00bish" ppl, instead of recruiting good pa players they recruited not so good players.

Thats isnt really a correct assessment of the sitiation though. TE had some very good players, many who left and went on to bigger things in Legion among other alliances.
TE grew massive very quickly and probably did accept a few players who were not up to scratch, but this was at a time when everything was new. There was no AH to help structure an alliance, there was no planet tagging, etc, everything as done manually. The speed in which the alliance grew was astonishing and may have helped plot its downfall.
Of course, with hindsight that can be looked upon negatively when in many ways it pioneered a lot of what players are part of today.

I was in TE's UV wing back in the day (r2) - primarily through Zaphod more than any skill on my part.

I own TE, and that includes Alpha Wing, Phantom Fighters, Ultra Violence, Savage Warriors and the 181st Imperial Fighters.
UV is a trademark of TE and any subsequent use by anyone other than myself, without prior authorisation, is (and was) illegal.

I would advise speaking with Plantman before you make claims of this nature. He was the heart and soul of The Empire long after various command members departed for "bigger and better" things. He also disbanded it so that no one could soil what honor and integrity the name stands for.

I think Fury may have spurred that fall abit during r2 when they hit TE as part of its contribution in toppling WaC. Alot of old Fury have fond memories of that war.

You are right, The war with Fury in round 2 did badly hurt TE and I dont believe it recovered fully after.
