ROCK: Presentation

Nothing can ever change the fact that ROCK is one of the oldest alliances in Planetarion, with 20+ rounds of experience. Some of our old members are actually still around! (married with children of course). We have, as any alliance, had our ups and downs, and we are currently in one of our better periods so far. We play under the belief that PA is a game, and should be treated as such: games are fun (don't you agree?). This leads me to a very important part of ROCK:

While we in ROCK try our best to perform well, we still think that fun>game. That is why ROCK will never win any round of Planetarion. However, we still do our best, and we always feel that top3/5 is within grasp. If this is what you are looking for, then you should seek elsewhere.

ROCK: Round 25

For Round 25 of PA, we are making some changes in our command team, and the HC will consist solely of Vasquin and myself, and we will be the only ones doing recruitment.

Our recruitment will be tightened compared to what of R23/24, and we will be highly selective. We are off course considering every serious applicant, but we focus on that our members agree on our philosophy of the game (see above).

What we offer our members:
-Stable HC
-Stable political situation with no backstabbing of others, and with no secrets from our members
-Daily attacks
-Defence (no-def system for leechers)
-Great community: Meets, Radio, teamspeak server, trivia-bot.
-Decent tech system
-Great carreer opportunities
-Opportunity to participate in the annual (roundly) "lets 20-wave Wakey" celebration. (we are willing to sell our souls to get his coords in the early stages of the game!)

What we expect from out members:
-Stable and reliable participation in both attacks and defence
-Adequate or better IRC activity. Preferably 4h or more, daily
-Game experience preferred. We are willing to accept new players given that they show will to learn
-"Understandable" english (written)
-Respect NAPs and alliances
-That you generally agree with us when we say "PA is game"

, no seriously even though requirements are much they are not really their are there for your enjoyment in ROCK and our commitment to new members, whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting we have the community just for both.

Well worth allience joining many years of experience. I know where i will be this round, ROCK is a fun place to be with many great people and many great players hope to see you there, good luck all in the upcoming round.

Hey people. I was hoping to come back to ROCK for a round or two, I've found myself with a lot of spare time sitting in front of a computer...few small problems...forgotten how to use MIRC for one!!
If anyone could help that would be great.
