Thumbs up [Discuss] An Idea for next round....

sorry i couldntfind a plce to put it so i thought here would be good....anyways my idea...at this present time im in protection with 10 ticks to go and i'm ready but i cant do anything so i thought masybe next round there could be an option of leaving protection eairly it worked for *******s and ib think it would work here...anyways please let me know what you think

i see the need for a player arriving in mid round but not for the beginning of next round>> if you're out of protection while everyone else is still under it, you can't do anything anyway.

Protection should be left for 72 ticks at all periods of the game. XP gains when you're fresh starting up would be enormous given a low value & galaxy donations.

How so? As XP only depends on your value and not on the age of your planet i don't see how anyone could boost his XP by just attacking earlier than his personal tick 72.

i'm undecided on this, though becuase of the way proteciton is designed it woudl require redesigning to allow it to be removed

what's the Harm in having people be able to leave protection whenever they want,.. if someone wants to leave b4 anyone else, they dont gain anything by it, unless someone else decideds to leave protection early,...

after the start of the round then this could be a good way for people to join an alliance quicker,.. and participate in attacks if possible,..

sounds like good idea all around

I think the main harm is extra coding - I'm already feeling sorry for the coders, so this is probably going to be nearer the bottom of the list if it is deemed worth it.

To be honest, I think that an option to toggle protection after tick 100-200 is a good idea

cluter attack -1 would be nicer than ouching protection .
(or cth get theyr co fleet again) or zik get a eta 8 fleet so we wreck ppl nstead of just pasing by , and kill the de fleet . whit in gal defence eta 9 is awfull .

I am familular with early leave newb mode from 2 other games who have this option, one, they allow you to leave newb mode 4 ticks before newb mode is ended ( and some good alliances utilise this cause yu can scan others 10 ticks before newb mode is over )
the other lets you leave newb mode 24 ticks before newb mode is ended. and you can scan 30 ticks before newb is over, ( yes very long newb in that one peeps would get very restless by day 3 )

one game had eearly newb mode release , but to many peeps abused it. no scans was done till you where out of newb though, to much confusion etc.. so that game removed the early leave newb mode option. it ticked off the players who loved to rape and pillage.lol but oh well it is just a silly game! get over it and move on!.lol
so you can exploit or you can make it work .
