Back From The Dead

Today, it was announced that the title of the new X-Files movie will be called The X-Files: I Want To Believe. It shall premier on 25th July 2008. I was a big fan of this show but I'm having mixed feelings about this movie. It has been six years since the X-Files went off the air and at least eight years since it should have done.

Whilst it does appear to have the main characters I don't think it can really add anything to the series. I hope I'm wrong on this btw.

Anyway, what is your opinion and what other shows do you think should have died and remained that way?

Re: Back From The Dead

In general I would definately agree. It all depends on how well the movie has been constructed, if they decided to rush it out just so they could get it off their plate and start on their next project I have no doubt it will be dire.

However that been said at least in its defence there have been quite a few surprising TV series -> Movie revivals in the last year or so that haven't been that bad.
