Hewitt: Anything else I should know about? How long will it take to set things right again?

EO: Well let’s see... we have 60% of our fuel left sir and we cannot jump until we have repaired the FTL engines - that will take about 3 hours to repair but we have full sublight engines sir.

Hewitt: Just peachy. Ok then Lt, get to work and I’ll speak to you again in three hours.

EO: Aye sir.

Hewitt: Right. So we know our FTL systems are shot... SO what can you tell us about our current position.

SO: Currently scanning sir.

No.1: Hmm... *Wanders over to the SO’s console.* Sir, better have a look at this...

*Hewitt joins his 2IC and the SO at the sensor console.*

No.1: I wonder what they would’ve done for enjoyment with all that high tech stuff?

Helm: Aye sir, setting course now... all set sir.

Hewitt: Very good. Now *strikes a dramtic pose* ENGAGE.

*The rear section of Pandora gains a light blue glow as ALL 10 of her cold fusion engines power up completely.

EO: Hey! Need I remind you all of the damage down here!? Take it easy damn it!

No.1: Do you realise how irritating that is sir?

Hewitt: Yes I do. *grins*

No.1: O-kay then...

SO: Leto, you really shouldn’t make fun of your father that way...

*Hewitt swivels around and gives the SO a cold forboding stare.*

Hewitt: Excuse me?

SO: *Looking slightly nervous* Sorry sir... I was out of line.

*Hewitt nods his head in deep thought.*

SO: Sir I sa-

Hewitt: Forget it.

*Hewitt does his best to shove back the encroaching emotions just waiting to surface and when he looks up again his features soften a little before settling back into something resembling a command posture.*

Hewitt: SO get me more info on that ship. I want to know what is out there if whoever they are decides we’re not welcome. But also keep an eye out for any other surprises that might decide to show up.

SO: *Looking relieved* Aye sir.

Hewitt: Also I want a fighter screen around Pandora ASAP.

WC: Will do sir.

Hewitt: Make sure all your pilots have their AMD’s active. I don’t want any missiles hitting this ship that could’ve been stopped.

WC: Aye sir.

Hewitt: Helm, this place is full of gravity wells I’m told. Make certain we don’t hit any of them.

Helm: You can count on me captain.

Hewitt: WO, make certain our weapons weren’t effected by our sudden exit from hyperspace...

*...and on when the long line of orders that needed to be put into effect. Meanwhile, the Pandora continued on her mission to investigate the WORMHOLE with her fighter escort on the look out and her insides a hive of activity.*

Comms - picking up signal sir seems that we hve some other ships with us, one dies match the database from some years ago, its an old ship sir of Chronioan design

SO - thats the Kronos sir and thats Capt Julians ship it matches the profile 100%

EO - he could havr Time jumped sir

Comms - shall we signal the others sir

SO - with that gaurdian perhaps all 3 off us can work toghether

No1 - we would stand a better chance of survival sir

SO - the other ships are stationery and are charging Super Weapons sir

Now the rest of you, break out the emergency supply of rubber bats, jacko laterns, silly string cobwebs and face paints... But don't jump out and say Boo until the signal...

Marines we won't need you for boarding action just yet, but stay sharp and try to get into character a little... I'll send you Trick or Treating when the time comes.

This would be a lot more effective if you could pull off an Insectid cover, but we don't have the information yet, this was a research and destroy mission afterall, we'll be able to make a much more convincing Mantis ploy with the data supplied back at Ankaa.

[Quite some time later, with the XGP pushing along the biggest Mantis hull they could tractor and the crew getting into character]

"Ok the logistics of this, we'll approach the Frigates at an undead pace, quarter thrust. We have plenty of EMP missiles in the hold, shots will be deployed in pairs, a hundred metres to the fore of the Mantis wreckage, one burst either side at short intervals. That should prevent those monkies getting accurate readings on our power signature and give the dummy hull a slight afterglow. Shut down our external lighting and keep us in the shadow, when we're nearing the target, signal the lead frigate and let the fun begin."

"Alright places people... Science, dim the bridge lights... aaaand action."

[Cut the scene, where entire bridge crew are doing their best to look like scarey Alien Mantis Preditor type creatures. The room is left almost pitch black to make up for the rush job on the costumes, with smoke pouring in from all sides as further distraction. Cue close up of Commander Kama, who's voice is being translated to Mantis and down an octave to sound extra threatening, complete with subtitling where necessary, all the while he furiously waves fake claws around in a terrifying display of ghostly alien gesticulation.]

<Bwah Hah Hah! At last We have been AWAKENED!!! This is an ancient protected sssystem, and you are trespassing. You must be ssstopped at all cosssts!! Lower your shieldsss!!! And prepare [dramatic pause] to be boarded! we are reclaiming what you hafffve taken. If you do not comply, you will be [dramatic silence] diiiiistroyed!!! We will haunt you to end of time, be warned, you are on the way to destruction, you have no chance to ssssurvive, make your time!!!>

I have a quick question about weapons and super weapons.

Every weapons that uses 6 or more turret mounts is classified as a "superweapon" right? Does that also apply to weapons that need, for example, 5 turret mounts and 1 additional mount?

I've read somewhere in the thread that all superweapons require charging posts, although this is not always included in the corresponding entry in the list of weapons. Is there a way to know which weapon requires what amount of charging, because it isn't always the same.

"Oooops... what do you mean oops... what's that prick...fee-ling... and why d... you... syringe..." *Thud*

*Kama comes around a little while later, wondering what just happened. Scratching her head with the point of a claw, she attempts to get up, finding herself a little "off balance" and for some reason can't get to grips with walking for a moment, something was definately a miss.

"Ugh... nice job everyone."

*Puzzled with the slanted looks she appeared to be getting from the crew, shrugged down into the command seat

"Marines, you're up, one SSS group will be deployed to each Green Monkey Battle Frigate, secure the bridges and we'll detain the command crew in our brig until we can turn them in, the rest of the crews we'll work out after, happy trick or treating.

Science, when we have those ships under our control and are sure they pose no immediate thread we can start scouting the system, I want you to handle the investigation. Begin high resolution scanning of the inner planets, use which ever extra personel your require and lets try to learn a little bit about what the Insectids were doing here... and what made them leave...

Engine room, spiffy job with the lighting, keep it humming until we're clear. Weapons, how's that tractor beam, hold 'em steady for just a bit longer, sorry but it looks like no other gun, play, for, the, mo~me~nt. WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE!!!"

*Kama now for the first time notices her new 'attributes' and as intrigueing as this may be she quickly finds herself frowning at the discovery.

"Great... I'm going to need a bigger wardrobe. I'm not sure I like the way this movie is starting, excuse me, I'm going to find a new uniform, number one, you have the bridge."

*Heading for her quarters, with the paper mache head tucked neatly under one claw and unable to stop 'wiggling' as she goes, mutters under her breath.

"Damn hips... Oh and once we have the frigates, send an ADCT over to the cruiser hull, see if it's salvagable and rig up some power, or we'll have to tow it all the way to the nearest starbase."

"Okay everyone lets do this in record speed ten specail forces squad board the cube, followed by the repair teams. Science give them the reuslt from your scans so they can pinpoint the damaged sectors as soon as posisble."
No1 - "I suggest we decloak as well, they seem to have found us. Better to charge weapons, and reppare for battle"

Carter titling his head curiously and shrugs
"Well I suppose it give us some stoires to brag about aye"
Grinning widly
"Well you heard him decloak us and get those weapons charged, its time to bare our fangs"

Science - "We have decloaked engine reserves are holding

Weapons - "Charging all weapons for quick shots, they will use up our reserves more but if we get hit anyway our chance are not the greatest"

"As you say but inicitae is ncie but within reasons, lucky you havent overstepped it this time. Soldiers are mearly dolls at a puppeters whims if they cannot think for themselves"
A glance around the bridge is greated by a few relaxed shrugs, the coserns for etticute and the hierachy clearly not on everyones mind.
"okay send in the boarding parties fitted with enviroment suits, keep us latched on the cube for now, make sure everyone is accompained by an escort of at least fine Specials I hope that engineer of yours is good, ill buy him a drink, hell ill get you all one when we get back to dock now show me how realcrew works"

Cid: We have a lock with the Particle Cannon? Then aim for their engines and fire the damned thing! Now! I want to see sparks from them, not us! Reroute the power that would usually go to the tractor beam and relay it towards our sheilds, I want those things recharged before we go up in flames!

*Cid stumbled back to his seat again and sat down, nodding to Kosaga in thanks.*

Cid: Get all medical staff to get the wounded into the medical bays! I want them working to their full efficiency, and some! Send the dead into a seperate cargo hold, when this is all over I want full burials for Each Individual! No-one leaves my vessel without praise for what they have done. This goes double for Reily...

*Cid looks at the blackened stump of what used to be his Science Officer.*

No1: No-one knew more about Kylithium than her... research will be hard without her.
Cid: Tell me about it, Heidagan... I suppose one of her seconders would know about it, pity they are all in the Shraan Sector at the moment. However, without her we have no scans. I want the Engineering Officer to get that panel repaired and a new Science Officer to take Reily's place until we return to either Shraan Sector or Ankaa Space Station.
EO: Working on it, sir.
Cid: Fire the last Cruise Missile once the Particle Cannon has fired! At least we can cause as much damage to them as they have done to us!

I finally got around to reading up on my weapons. Them Planet Busters gonna hurt. It had a warning; only effect against Moon sized or larger targets. I hope It does something other then logde in the hull of the baddie.

Captain Bogg stares at the viewscreen and watches the Amodyte being fried by the Devoran anti-matter cannons. Fiery explosions erupt from the Amodyte and pieces of it are blown off and drift away into space. Bogg has a painful, but non-caring expression on his face while saying out loud: "Man, that's gotta hurt!"

SO: "Captain, the Amodyte has been heavily damaged! Its shields are down to 30%!"
Bogg: "Oh, well, time to get out of here, I suppose."
No1: "What about the Amodyte, captain? Those anti-matter explosions were intended for us. Captain Killer just saved our lives. We can't just leave them here!"
Bogg: "Alison, dear, for your information, we're practicing piracy, not chivalry."
No1: "Exactly!! The 'Space Pirates' Guide to the Galaxy' clearly states that you owe anyone that endangers their own life by saving yours."
Bogg: "Nonsense! There's no such thing as a rulebook for pirates!"
* No1 tosses a small booklet to captain Bogg, who opens it and randomly reads a couple of entries, some while frowning, some with surprise and a few even with mild delight.
Bogg: "Well, book or no book, I am captain Phinneas Bogg. I am a mean viscious pirate and I do not go around saving people. However, I know of someone who can. Wait here while I fetch him."

* Bogg hurries to his private quarters and a few moments later a man walks out. He's wearing black tights and a large buckled belt. A yellow tablecloth that has at one end been tucked into the back of his collar, functions as a cape and over his head he's wearing a black leather mask with a zipper over the mouth. He hurries to the bridge, enters and speaks: "Hmvoergoknmzer". He then unzips his mask and again speaks: "Have no fear! Boggman is here!".

No1: "Captain???"
Boggman: "No, I'm not your captain, I am his heroic friend; Boggman and he sent me here to help you save the day!"
No1: "I see. Well, eh, Boggman, what are your orders?"
* Behind Boggman's back, some of the officers start to giggle, but when he suddenly turns around, his eyes narrowed to small slits and ready to breathe fire, they're all wearing their normal, placid faces.

Boggman: "Finally! Get a lock on their engines and fire when ready! Order the fighters to target the engine section as well and fire the rest of our weapons too, at the same target."
WO: "Firing now!"
No1: "I've relayed your orders to the wingcommander, Sir."
Boggman: "Very well, but don't call me Sir, it's Boggman."
No1: "Oh right, of course... Boggman."
Boggman: "Commander Redbock, the enemy shields should go down very shortly. I want you to prepare a boarding party to take over the ship. We will need some prisoners."
MC: "Yes captain, we'll begin straight away."

Boggman: "Now, let's see if we can help captain Killer. Engineering, this is the bridge. Is it possible to extend our shields around captain Killer's ship?"
EO: "L'Oven here. It's possible, but we need to be real close and we'll need to adapt to their shield harmonics. Also, it would mean a decrease in our own shielding."
Boggman: "Very well, make it so!"
EO: "Understood!"
Boggman: "Comms inform captain Killer of our intentions and ask him if he requires any additional assistance."
Comms: "Sure thing, Boggman."
Boggman: "Helm, I want you to fly the ship as close to the Amodyte as you can get."
Helm: "Ayaye Boggy!"
Boggman: "Boggman please."

operations: shields are holding, forward shields are down to 75% sir, we have minor hull damages, repair teams are en route

me: target the lead frigate, fire all we...

WO: sir, the phased particle phaser 8 is charged and ready to fire, want me to give the weapon's power to them?

me: perfect, like i said, target the lead frigate, fire all weapons into their engines, if we can destroy their engines they'll lose power and we can board them, use the AFD II and the AMD II to target the enemy fighters

EO: sir, the linear pulse is ready

me: it seems all good news comes at once, WO, you know what to do

for LH reference:
firing the Phased particle phaser 8 at the lead frigate
firing the linear pulse weapon at the lead frigate (if it isn't disabled already)
firing the AFD II and the AMD II at the enemy fighters (despite the fact the AMD II should be used against missiles, but since there are no enemy missiles, we might just as well try to shoot at their fighters)
all other weapons are to fire at the lead frigate (if it isn't disabled already, if it is, all other weapons are to target the second frigate)
the gunboat will fire at the lead frigate as well, providing it isn't disabled already, if it is disabled, the gunboat will target the second frigate

*A fire started up in Crazy's eyes. A hatred started to grow inside of him. Stupid Chronoians. They would pay.*

*Crazy, his eyes still fixed on the spinning wreckage of the science ship, turned on the internal intercom*

"Attention. Attention. This is the Captain. We have hostile ships on appraoch vector. All hands are to report to battle stations immeditly. Repeat, all hands to battle stations. Initiate battle procedure Crazy Alpha."

*All around the fleet carrier, those who were off duty ran, mostly grumpily, to their battle stations, while those who were on duty, quickly finished up what they were doing and ran to their stations. Those on the outer decks, and near the outter hull, evactuated those areas, as per the Crazy Alpha protecole. All around the ship, blast doors started sliding shut, and sealing off different sections of the ship, incase of hull breaches or fires.*

Helm: "Bringing us into firing range now sir."

"Commence attack patter Foxtrot Niner. Tactical, fire at will"

*Crazy watched on the view screen, as his ship sped towards the concordat, coming at them from the top, front. As their guns came into range, they opened up. The concordat was lit up red, as the three Partical lasers burst forth from the front of the fleet carrier, and slammed into the concordat. Those were followed by four Quantum torpedos. The carrier then turned, rolled and fired with the rest of its weapons, before turning and firing off the last of the first volley of torpedos. All the shots were aimed at the forward shields of the offending concordat.*

*Menwhile, all 40 of the Nial class fighters were happily engaged kicking some Chrono fighter butt. The squadrons all approached from a different side at the fighters, and opened up at the same time. All 120 of their Heavy Neutron Cannons ripped up space and fighters, as they caught the chrono fighters in a heavy cross fire*

* WO informs the captain of their status and explains they won't be able to keep this up for much longer.
Bogg: "Mr. L'Oven I want that transwarp drive back online now. We need to get out of here very fast."
EO: "Yes captain. We're still on working on it, jump capability will soon be restored."
Bogg: "I wasn't talking about soon, I was talking about now, while we still have them, dammit!"
Bogg: "Commander Redbock, have your marines help with ship repairs and put out any fires you encounter."
MC: "Yes captain, we'll take care of it."
Bogg: "Alison, evacuate all non essential parts of the ship and shut down power to it, including life support. Once the oxygen there is gone, it should extinguish any fires that may be going on in there."
No1: "I'm giving the order, Sir."
Comms: "Captain Killer wants us to target the enemy ship's engine exhausts, Sir. He believes the ship may be vulnerable there. He says he has been charging his particle phaser and it should be ready to fire when our particle cannon is ready too!"
Bogg: "Captain Killer can believe whatever he wants to believe. I'm sick and tired of being his lightning rod. We're leaving right now!"
No1: "I think we should give it a try, captain."
Bogg: "WHAT?"
No1: "We won't be able to leave until our transwarp drive has been repaired. In the mean time our best chances are to keep damaging the enemy ship as much as possible."
Bogg: "Oh very well then. I just hope we'll live long enough to not regret this decision."
No1: "Sarah, fire 10 EMP missiles and spread them over all of their guns. I don't want them to get a clear lock on us when they fire at us again. It should reduce any further damage we receive."
WO: "Yes Ma'am."
No1: "L'Oven, I want you to divert the power from all our guns except the particle cannon, to reinforce our shields!"
EO: "Yes Commander."
Bogg: "McQuirk, once our particle cannon has been fully charged, we will fire on the ship's engine exhausts. When that happens, I want our fighters to concentrate their firepower on that too, but for now you will continue to bomb their anti-matter cannons."
WC: "Understood, captain!"

"Coms, relay that order to both of the other ships. They're Frigates so they should be able to move a lot faster than us. The Ariake is to move about as much as it can without jeapordising its missile locks, and the Akatsuki is to start moving about a lot more than it has been. "Aye sir," responded the Coms Officer, multi-tasking since the incoming transmission light on her console was blinking. "Very well. SO, maintain constant communication with Chosa Mitsonagi. As soon as the forward shields are down and the WO has ceased fire, you are to clear the Marines for boarding. Mitsonagi, I want that ship captured with as little damage to the interior as possible. Go for the engines first to ensure that it can't escape. I think you have a better idea than I of what to do after that/"

"Indeed, My Lord, it shall be done as you have ordered...My Lord, what of the other Marines?" At this, No Dachi paused, thinking carefully. There were the other Marines to consider as well. No, better to save them for when they would be needed than to squander them on a ship with no apparent troops to defend it, and in doing so alert the entire area to the fact that he had...other...Marines.

"You may inform the Captain that his talents would be wasted on this particular frigate, and that I do not wish to waste his time with such trivial tasks," No Dachi responded. The Captain would doubtless find that amusing. He found everything amusing, especially dangerous things.

*Bakan grabs the sides of his command chair tight at the Dune Rider buckles around him. The other crewmembers on the bridge also hold on, many of them already strapped into thier chair to prevent them from flying out.*

Bakan: "Status report?"

Engineering Offiver: "Sir, very minor hull damage, basically carbon scoring in some sections of deck 5 aft section. Shields hold, though aft shields are at 80%."

Bakan: "Tatical, how are we doing?"

Tatical Officer: "We are giving it out as good as we get sir."

*Suddently several panels light up next to the tatical officer and he smiles evily.*

Tatical Officer: "Sir, our Particle Phaser 7 is full charged and ready to be deployed."

*Hearing this, several other crewmembers smile, including Bakan.*

Bakan: "Excellent. Engineering, boost power to our Structural Integrity fields and Internal Dampending fields as high as they can go. Also prepare to cut out the starboard and center aft impulse engines."

Helm Officer: "Sir, what the hell are you doing?"

Bakan: "What you think, just prepare for a wild ride. Communications, sound collision alarm."

*The communications officer looks at Bakan in shock, only to be glared at with a cold stare. Swallowing hard and tighting his seat restraints, he hits the rarely used collision alarm. Throughout the ship blue lights start flashing, with a distinctive alarm blaring. Crewmembers rushed to seats to secure themselves, or grabbed onto tables or safety bars scattered about the ship.*

Bakan: "Engineering, on my command cut power to those two engines. Helm, fire forward port thrusters, port for thrusters and aft starboard thrusters."

*The helm officer, frowns, then smiles broadly.*

Helm Officer: "Aye sir, I have always wanted to do this."

Bakan: "And today is your lucky day, just be prepared to keep us moving."

Tatical Officer: "Sir, frigates closing in on our aft end."

Science Officer: "Whoa, Captain flapjacks ship just unleashed their phased particle phaser 8 against the lead frigate."

Bakan: "Good, then they should like this. Tatical, aim for the closest frigate to our aft that is not the target of flapjacks attack. Hold fire until my command."

Tatical Officer: "Targetting but holding fire."

Science Officer: "Frigates closing, they are opening fire."

Bakan: "ENGINEERING, CUT ENGINES, HELM, FIRE THRUSTERS, HOLD ON EVERYONE!!!"

*With the touch of controls, the Dune Rider spins violently in space, the hull groaning under the sudden stresses. Crewmembers who were not secured well enough go flying, many using their training and rolling, avoiding injuries. As the frigates fire, the Dune Rider's strong forward shields take the brunt of the attack.*

Helm Officer: "Sir, we have rotated 170 Degrees from original vector, 175.... 180....."

Bakan: "TATICAL, FIRE EVERYTHING!!!"

*Again, the Dune Rider shudders violently as it fires, first off with it's freshly charged particle phaser 7, followed by the Hellbore Cannon and the 4 Pulse Phasers, with the Electro Pulse Gun firing last, in the hope that if the shields were penetrated that it would disable key systems.*

Tatical Officer: "Full salvo fired, recharging the Particle Phaser 7."

Bakan: "Engineering, restore engines to normal."

Helm Officer: "Oh crap, sir we are somewhat out of control."

Bakan: "Stabilize..... oh my....."

*Looking out the main viewport, Bakan sees another frigate rapidly coming closer. Swearing violently, the Helm Officer grabs the manual flight controls and pulls violently.*

Science Officer: "Sir, the frigates are firing again!!"

Helm Officer: "Hang on people."

*Hitting certain buttons, causing the port impulse engine to fire at 125% efficiency, boosting the speed from it and turning the ship more violently and swiftly. The one frigate tilts away from the viewport, only to be replaced by another in a head-on collision. Gritting his teeth, the Helm Officer pushes the controls forward, with the frigate rising up on the viewscreen. Hitting some more panels, the Helm officer takes emergency control of the tractor beam and locks onto the frigate they just evaded. While the tractor beam dosen't have enough power to move the ship, it acts like a nice anchor allowing the Dune Rider to pull a even tighter turn, letting it dodge the onrushging frigate. Finally seeing only open space, the Helm Officer sighs, deactivating the tractor beam and starts manuvering in evasive manuvers as weapon blasts streak past the ship, firings that missed their target."

Science Office: "Damnit man, don't ever quit your day job. I can't be certain, but I think you actually got some of them to hit each other with their weapons."

Bakan: "Excellent firing. Communications, cancel collision alarm, see about raising the local planetary forces and cut through the jamming. Engineering, get the aft shields back up, and see about the fore shields also. along with fixing the minor damage, use the Advnace Damage Control Teams if needed. Tatical, continue to use our Anti-Fighter and Anti-Missile defence systems on the enemy fighters."

He could go on for another 100 years before finnaly being treathened by age. an aura of calm and grace fell over her, and the bridge, as the memory of her father, the immense respect she had, and the pride she felt trough being his daughter spread trough the ship like a wave of courage. grinning, she looked up again, seeing all crewmembers in place, ready for a signal to begin their missions. a short snap of the fingers, and comms sent the message. on his word, the EO would start boosting the engines, giving the shields and weapons everything they had, and helm would start his manouvres... all they had to wait for, was a reply, both from the Kronos as from the Guardian*

Umm... Lh using crazy's post for me seems bad... not thou i'm trying to be disrespectful. but I fired all my weapons at one spot then launch 2 PLANET BUSTERS at that spot. Know my weapons are spiecialy made for popping shields. This should have created a small hole for at least 1 missle. But NOO... nothing special stuff for good posts. BAH. Well I guesse i'll just ignore the lack of damage from 2 of the largest missles in this thread.

Comms - All ships, jumping in.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..

With several flashes and special effects, the small convoy moves out. An amount of time passes and they reach their first navigation point.

SO - All ships preparing to move out seperately. Area looks clear so far.

Comms - Captains requesting the go, sir.

"Lets go then. Remember that if things get too hot, the signal Blondie will be spread. Once spread, jump out ASAP and find your own way back to FREEBOOTERS, we will rendez-vous there.

Comms - Aye sir, all captains acknowledge.

SO - Sensors show ships jumping out.

Helm - Own nav point locked, ready to go.

EO - Cloaking device ready and primed at will, we've got the ADCT and one of the two Impulse Engines running seperately to keep it going.

"Lets go then..."

One by one, somewhere in deep space, the ships jump to different locations.

The freighters first jump to somewhere near a space lane and launch their Runabouts. Then, the freighters jump into the space lane and move out a bit, leaving a trail. Not much later, the Runabouts jump too and catch up them, beginning to fake attack them. (Too make this look real, the freighters use lower their shields by themselves, while the Runabouts only fire very low power shots at them, doing no real damage.) Of course, the freighters send out a general SOS and distress signal and so, hoping for help.

Meanwhile, the two frigates will have formed up within short time jumping distance, to move in once helps arrive. What they attack will be judged once it is known what is coming in.

As soon as the Frigates begin their attacks after jumping in, the freighters will raise shields and begin flying evasively, firing their AMD and AFD at fighters/missiles used by the defenders and taking pop shots with their light plasma cannons. The Runabouts will also begin attacking the help, precise targets to follow once more is known.

And, last but not least, Fluffie's FTL will also jump in, but cloaked. What it does, is also to be seen later.

..back on Fluffie's bridge.

SO - From all I can tell, all ships should be in place.

EO - Cloaking device at the ready.

Comms - Affirmative Science, ships have reported over secure channel they are in place. Runabouts are beginning to approach freighters, signals sent by merchants...

No1 - And now we wait.

"Aye.."

planet busters cannot be used against ships

Corbamite Missile - c 5000 - 1 per mount - this is the PLANET BUSTER - only effective against moonsized objects or larger - yup clear the spaceways with this beauty

moonsized is at is says a concordat is know where near that sized its only 1km long

"Now, MC, prepare all our troops for boarding actions. Only the SSS and SET will be used if we actually make a move - SSS to quickly move out, neutralize resistance and occupy key positions. SET is to hack into the ship's systems as fast as possible to deny the crew access or control and to give us the controls. WO shut down all weapons, but keep ready to deploy bombs and..or mines. Our weapons won't be of much use anyway, the bombs and cobalt mines might come in handy, very handy, though.

EO, keep your ADCT on the cloaking device, as well do I want you to keep a seperate IMPULSE ENGINE on it, the other can still be used for the rest of the ship. Keep our slipstream drive ready at all times in case we need to make a quick departure.

SO, keep an eye on the enemy, tell me if they're about to make a move, or if they look like they will. Also keep an eye on their shields, if they drop I want to know. Right away, preferably before they know.

Now, Helm... Take us in as close as you can to one of those cruisers, near its hangar. Try and keep undetected, keep an escape course as well as a jump coordinate ready, though. As soon as the cruiser's shields drop, take us into its hangar and get close enough to the floor so we can jump out with guns blazing to take over the enemy ship.

WO, if SO says we're detected, immidiately deploy one of our COBALT MINES, preferable as close to the FEDS as possible. Keep it on remote control though.

Comms, if we actually do deploy one of those mines, inform our foes of it and say we won't hesitate to use it, or deploy any others.

Now, you lot, make me proud. Please?"
