going to an ex poly uni to get my MSc now
or waiting a year to get more valid work experience and going to a proper university?

On the flipside, once you've got a job it doesn't matter what qualifications you have so long as you can do it. I'm doing IT support and I have zero IT qualifications.

i would do the msc now. All a msc really shows is a level of qualification.

Project management work is the absolute acest thing in the entire world. If the project is something that interests you doit cause you get a lot of skills from it

Most MScs and other University 'blag' qualifications do little to enhance your career prosoects, and just provide a reason to avoid the work force. In fact, your career prospects could shorten because while you're at Uni, other people are gaining work experience by being out there and doing stuff.

My advice would to avoid Uni and take a proper, specialised qualification in whatever area you intend to work in, while also trying to work in that area. Like myself, working in finance and taking CIMA. Universty, I've learned, is a waste of time, as too many people are doing it, which waters down the meaning of the end product qualifications. And that's not even starting on the Mickey Mouse Degrees and other vacuous toss that they allow people to study these days.
