Thing is alot of people people like that know English and if they just spoke thier own language they would have to make thier own alliances etc.

it would also bring about a whole host of problems for the game. As it is now everyone has a common language they can communicate in but under this situation that would no longer be true. You could end up in a galaxy where you speak only english, #2 onlt speaks french, #3 german only, #4 chinese, #5 spanish #6 italian, #7 norweigien, #8 russian, #9 portugeuse, #10 japanese. Your galaxy would now be unable to communicate which isnt good for anyone.

The only solution would be have galaxies assigned by language but that could leave problems of unfull galaxies for some languages plus for some it would resign them to galaxies made up of a single timezone making them more vunrelable

Also languages like chinese have many different dialects, something written in mandarin has a completly differnt meaning to the same thing written in another dialect which would make such a task hard

wakey points out some highly valid points, it would also be a lto of work to maintain the translations and also things like chekcing for abusive pa mails would become problematic. So for now this will have to be declined.
