This thread do not intend to explain what happen to FAnG - as you may all know allready what happend there.
I won discuss about what WA said and done and what HC done to the alliance...
I just wanted to post my first thread on AD, just to make some event clear.
I will keep it short and excpect to not be flamed...

1. FAnG DO intend to rebuild hiself for next round and finish this round.
2. All HCs stepped down, i took responsabilities upon the last event and i intend to help FAnG for the time being - as i wont be able to leave the remaining of FAnG without any organization or no defense...and i am loyal to FAnG, i will die as FAnG.
3.I DO understand the player who left the alliance, as the last event putted in a way that they couldnt trust the alliance anymore.
4.We will end this round to carry the name of FAnG, we may not be a treat anymore to any of thoses top alliance but we still be attacking our ennemies and defend our alliance members.

Old HCs apologized for the last event, and they should be forgiven, no matter what ex-FAnGer think, you should know that an alliance is composed by 99% of players and 1% of commandment, and that mean that big decsiion like disbanding or anything else in the same range cant be taken by a small part of people, but must be decided by whole alliance...

We may not win this round as number one alliance, and I dont care about politics for the end of the round as i work hard to get trust again in FAnG, but i hope that many of you will remember FAnG for our EFFORT.
I thanks all our EX-members and our current members for giving us such good time, we care about our community first, this is a game and game intend to be fun...

lol was i misinformed or somert then cos i was told by an Ely i got removed off their target list yesterday

heh, gratz guys, you made it a flame thread, no surprise ...

Like Alch mentionned, things will change and who knows you'll see us again in r11. I will help out wherever I can but my priorities are in managing the gaming community and PA has become on a lower priority, hence why Alch will dedicate him to it.

Colle meant, that we've been #1 more then 50% of all the ticks in PA. Which means we were the best alliance during those ticks (more then 50% of the time), as is Eclipse right now and was tot at the very start. It's not difficult, really.

granted fang did well this rd but in fairness their downfall has a few mitigating reasons but to consider them the best alliance this rd cant be even considered , yes they did well to maintain the top spot for so long , as did ToT when they held top spot

as using examples from the real world seems to be the theme these days
consider the rd is a marathon and not a sprint
the winner is the first past the post not the guy that lead the race for more than half the distance

ofc, but you understand my point. I do think we have the right to claim we were at some point the better alliance in the round, regardless of these recent events etc.

I think that's different than claiming to be the best alliance in a particular round though. Unfortunately for FAnG if one considers the rounds of PA that they've played they've never really finished at the top, a sad reflection on one of the more motivated and better organised alliances in the latter rounds of Planetarion.

If you want a real reflection on "Best alliance of the round" then you cannot just assume score and roids is everything.

Maybe that's the downfall of so many alliances, thinking that they are best just for being biggest.

I think the best alliance of the round is the alliance who has Rember in it!

Well the best alliance in this game should be a personal view, i name the best alliance by the fun i have there + the attack i am able to join + the defense i may get and plus many things like organization - fairness, loyalty and also respect.
This may be a big alliance or a small alliance, of course thoses things cannot be mesured by the PA team so we remained with score/roids...
Basically best alliance is mesured by your personal satisfaction of this alliance and by the number of application again in the next round.

My goal will provide the ground for the best alliance, we will be a fun community, player wont connect only to ask defense or attack but to chat and know each other, we will respect each members and take care of the overall, of course ourmain goal will be to win by the PA team standart (roids/score) but we will be mainly try to be THE alliance.

I will personally work for that

Have you guys tried using pills for that. I saw a commercial for some pills that are supposed to prevent premature finishes and increase size.

Aye we didnt do too badly i think had a bit of a rumble with eet . About what the HCS did i dont wana go into it as its been talked about enough. But i would like to add this to Alchs great heart warming speech. I would personally like to thank all our Allies and the many BCs that i worked with to make this a exciting round to some point.

God willing i hope to see u all again next round and ofcourse if the PA team actually decides to listen to what the players want in this game ie (mil scans of other fleets and clusters etas ) to name but a few , and actually implement those changes then im sure alot more ppl will return play what is after all a great game well at least the concept of the game rest all depends on the round.

Thanks to all our members who were the ppl that helped us do so well in this round hope to see u All in the NEW and what i think will be a greatly improved FAnG next round.
