Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
Below is this week's exiles transfer code from The Herald for our Whyte and Mackay British Fantasy Football competition.
YOU WILL NEED THIS TRANSFER CODE to make any player transfers this week for your team Blinky Blonky Blimey
This week's transfer code is:

The code will change every Monday until the end of the season 2004/5. You will be emailed the latest code on a weekly basis. You have 4 player transfers every month from August 2004 through April 2005.
Thanks for playing Whyte and Mackay British Fantasy Football, from The Herald.

Youre not eligible for the spoon technically as you havent played more than half the season. Youll finish last though, but LHC or 1-X will get the spoon.

heh yeah I know. Both of them were created after my good team so I haven't paid us much attention to them. One is just totally Wales players which unsurprisingly is doing crap with some of my players never even having played a game. Surprisingly though that is doing better than a team that when originally picked was actually meant as a serious attempt The shit start soon led to me abandoning them.

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
My main team is doing ok in 11th - disappointing though because of a month in October/November that I lost so many points and didn't gain any (bad pickings) - which before that I was actually in the top 6 iirc. it then dropped to something like 17th after that bad spell and has gone back up to where it is now - 11th which is cool - I'm 9 points behind 10th place but I'm hoping I'll get there >
Btw, what's up with one of Kura's teams?!
- Thistle for the Cup Kurashima 1 589
1 point?!

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
I forgot about this league entirely when I stopped playing the league I did with my friends because somebody completely ran away with it.
Hopefully I can pull off a last minute spectacular win as you guys seem to be really pants and not overtaken me in the 2 months I didn't look at my team though!

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
Considering I doubt I can do any worse despite being a week away from the league finishing, I've come in 12th and 16th - not bad considering the 16th place started month+ late. Disappointed with 12th place though - would have finished top 10 but I didn't - oh well bring on next season :D
I'd like to thank Kura for enlightening me with what the Scottish league has to offer. I'd like to throw rocks at those who picked a Thiery Henry team :(

Only a 7 point lead at the top for RCDO , with the Riverside Rejects & Cym Cynon battling it out for 2nd place. Long time leader Jonny has slipped to 3rd, and with a 13 point deficit to make up, can only be considered a longshot along with Darren Grist's Mongeese United. And after looking so promising (and having such similar squads) , Phangs "Hibs for UEFA Glory" "And the SPL too" teams have the very slightest of chances of taking the gold, although a good week from Riordan and Co would probably see him scraping a top 3 finish.
All to play for people. Good Luck, Transfer Code is 7584 , and its GAME ON!

but I've said before that "total tosspots", as it's name suggests, were players I didn't like and were intended to perform badly
also I didn't change either of my teams anywhere near as much as I should have

Damn you Steven Pressely, damn you to hell. 3 conceded goals and a red card, making a total of -6 points for the match. Meaning that I lost that 10th place to Jamie Scott.
Bastard. May you break both your legs, or have someone shave your beard off. I don't mind which.
EDIT: just realised that the Scottish season hasn't finished yet. Here's hoping for 6 points or more.

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
Just a tip for all those still in contention.
The Premiership season has finished , but you have FOUR Transfers left (hopefully) and theres ONE Scottish Game Left. Dump Lampard , Scholes , Rooney , Giggs , Terry , and bring in Hartson , Bellamy , Novo , Prso , Kyrgiakos , anyone you want.
Its all in the pot people!

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
I correct myself. I forgot that as the league is now in its final half month, we only have half the transfers.
This week's transfer code is:
2742
GL all.

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
10 minutes from a clean sheet with Golabeck and 4 points Would have put me only 3 behind you.
I now need a Rangers clean sheet and Hartson goal to win :/

Re: GD Fantasy Football Season 2
And so , the end has come , and the final table looks like this
http://britishfantasyfootball.theher..._s=Zyyy7hLuyhL
A warm round of congratulations to MAD MANX and his Racing Club De Onchan team, who narrowly edged out Adam Thomas and his Cwm Cynon team by just 5 points, and held onto 2nd place by just 1 point from longtime leader JonnyBGood and his Urban Legends. The top 5 rounded off with Bod of the Boro (Riverside Rejects) and Darren Grist (Mongoose United).
A warm thank you to everyone that played this season. A lot of fun had by all, some good competition, and in particular, an eye opener to some with regards to the Scottish League. Hopefully we will see everyone back next year for a bit more fun, a few more gimmick teams, and a lot of competition. Thanks to everyone again.
