Question Graphics Cards for laptops

i'd like to get a new graphics card for my laptop, but am unsure as to what to get, where to get it from, how much it would cost and whether it would fit. any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Graphics Cards for laptops

pretty much hit and miss, there is no standard for laptop gfx in terms of size.

also they are expensive buggers too, best consult the company that you got the laptop from.

Re: Graphics Cards for laptops

It's usually built onto the main board, or vendor specific.

So the basic answer would be that unless your laptop manufacturer has a faster graphics card which will fit your laptop, your essentially stuck with what you have.
