Scans on in-game Alliance Defence Page.
The Problem
If busy/rushed, open scans, copy to calc, it's very easy to paste old scans into the calc which can really stuff things up a few ticks down the line. This is for Unit and AU scans especially.
The Solution
Colour coding the P,N,A etc to like Red for scans not this this tick, and like Green to scans done this tick.
i.e.
expand x:x:x x:x:x Foxtrot Cat 70430 Attack 9 B P D I A
This would mean scans would need to be done and once they are completed:
expand x:x:x x:x:x Foxtrot Cat 70430 Attack 9 B P D I A

Clever, I like it. You could even add yellow for scans done in the last x ticks. 5? 24?

Nice idea. OFC a 10 tick old D or AU scan is not as useless as a 10 tick old JGP can be... but the simpler the better, your suggestion works.

Re: Scans on in-game Alliance Defence Page.
While we're on it, can we fix the scan linking so that scans are attached to calls by planet id rather than coords? Seeing Cat AUs linked to an Etd planet that's since taken its place is just silly.

Pretty certain scan ids are a random alphanumeric string, which certainly isn't coords!

Re: Scans on in-game Alliance Defence Page.
The random alphanumeric string still seems to be related to a certain coord rather then to a planet id tough, which is the issue Tommy put forward

Re: Scans on in-game Alliance Defence Page.
I'll see about sorting this as well as the tracking issue, at least i'll add it to my list,
but it's a continuously growing list... will see how far up i can get this :/

Specifically, if your ally has a scan saved for one planet, then that planet exiles/gets deleted and another takes its place, then if the new planet attacks your ally the scan linked on the defence page will be from the old planet (until a new scan is made). This is a bit silly, and leads to things like AUs full of Cath ships being attached to incs from Xan planets.

Re: Scans on in-game Alliance Defence Page.
So the alliance scans database stores coordinates seperately from the main scan system? Oh boy That's just horrible

Re: Scans on in-game Alliance Defence Page.
And while we're at it: the alliance defence page only needs 1 bcalc textfield per land tick per planet.
