Can I clone my own phone?
About 14 months ago I switch to vodafone, who were late supplying the phone and even later supplying the simcard. I finally got the simcard 2 weeks late. Skip forward to last month...

...and I took delivery of a vodafone simcard. Hmmm. My number is on it, and my current sim is still active. If I was to put that sim in an old phone and turn it on, what is likely to happen?

Will they both ring when someone calls me?
Do they need to be in the same transmission zone, or seperate transmission zones, or doesn't it matter?
Or will nothing interesting happen at all?

From what I remember reading ages ago I thought they had some way to detect this and bad things happen.

I'm probably wrong though, try it and see

For work we did all crazy stuff with mobiles, among wich were cloning cards and IMEIs. If I recall correctly nothing will happen, the last card activated on the network will be 'active', thus receiving calls.

Funny thing was that you could dial out with the first card untill you dial out with the second, (then that one becomes active) and you will be charged for both calls.

One of my colleagues also tried two phones with the same IMEI and the same card, but I don't think anything 'espectacularrr' happened, probably just the same.
