[Football] Burley Quits Hearts
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...an/4367202.stm
After leading them to their best start in the league ever , well ahead of the Old Firm and their Edinburgh rivals, Burley's supposed nonchalance about the chairman buying all the players appears to have disappeared and hes out the door.
Phang, if possible, can you stop pissing yourself laughing long enough to give us an opinion?

Re: [Football] Burley Quits Hearts
I was in the middle of writing a thread on this when I decided not too and you'd just made one!
Anyway, as Burley is a decent manager, where do you think he'll go now?

Thats what I was thinking. Why bring in a good coach who leads the team to 8 consecutive wins, moulds a great blend of local and international talent, goes unbeaten against anyone and everyone, and then allow him to leave the club with little or no notice?
Just when Scotland looked like having a team capable of challenging the Old Firm, something happens to upset the apple cart and restore the status quo.
Very disappointing

Re: [Football] Burley Quits Hearts
Graeme Souness could manage barcelona into non-league competition within three years.

SBR: "Victor, who's changed all the names on me team sheet?"
VR: "It must have been you, Bobby. You must have just forgotten!"
SBR: "Oh right then."
It's a match made in heaven.

I'd put a quid on Valdimir Romanov.
Make it five.

Re: [Football] Burley Quits Hearts
Robson didnt want it in the summer when Hearts were an unknown quantity. Now its obvious that they have a competent playing roster, hes interested. What a shame, what a sham.
