Car Help Needed!
My car has recently had an mot and now I need to get a number of niggly litvle problems fixed.
First off, where can I get a new licence plate?
Secondly, the emissions from my car are too polluting or something and the guy advsed me to put some type of liquid in with the petrol or something to clean the engine.
Does anybody know:
A) what type of liquid he is referring to
B) where I can purchase said liquid
C) where into the car it should go?
Any help would be appreciated as my knoledge of cars is zero.

Re: Car Help Needed!
a) engine cleaner
b) any shell garage/ halfords
c) in your petrol tank.
if your engines been running a bit hot that effects your emissions aswell, get radflush from halfords and empty your radiator, then refil with de-inosed water/ anti freeze.

Re: Car Help Needed!
I've never heard of specifically an engine cleaner, I know that I've had to use some Wynns Spitefire before (goes in petrol tank) to clean the injectors. Also, I've found in cases of smoking/exchaust some stop-smoke/motor honey does the trick.

I've been recommended Redex and I can get that at the same place I get my licence plate so all is well.

Re: Car Help Needed!
Don`t forget to bring your V5 registration document with you when you go to get the new number plate. They should n`t (ie: against the law) make a new one without seeing it first. Problems in the past with crims making false number plates for stolen cars etc.

Re: Car Help Needed!
God damn! this engine cleaner has to go into a practicaly empty tank. So I've got a fun afternoon of driving around to nowhere in particular to waste half a tank.
God damn!
