General Thoughts of the Day
The rise of the SNP seems far too much like the rise of the Nazis for my liking.
Taking a conversation in a public toilet about how your relationship is breaking up is not a good idea. Especially when two people go into the ajoining toilets to take a dump.
The Roman Catholic Church never ceases to amaze me in it's continuous downward spiral into insanity.

Alex Salmond does look a bit like Hitler in some respects, it has to be said.

it wasn't just 3 bad radio 4 programmes. It was the league table of the worst radio 4 programmes. Woman's hour is not even in the top ten ...

I was in the toilets and I heard some guy on the phone in a cubicle breaking up with his (presumably) girlfriend. Then, within 30 seconds of each other, 2 people entered the toilets and went into the cubicles on either side of him.
This was far more amusing for me than I think it should have been.

Re: General Thoughts of the Day
With regards to the Scotland Hitler thought. It all came about during a lecture about devolution. The lecturer was talking about how the SNP were on the rise due to disillusionment with the main parties, and how the SNP leader was allowed to form a coalition, largely in the hope that he would embaress himself.
She then went on to talk about how Scotland keep demanding more and more from England whilst going on about independence and reclaiming what is rightly the property of Scotland, The Rhineland.. I mean North Sea Oil Revenues.
Now, I don't say that the SNP want to kill all the Jews, or that they are a bunch of nationalist Nazis but there are similarities.
Oh, also there's that picture that is posted above.

Re: General Thoughts of the Day
You're comparing a man who wants to break up a fairly powerful country to a man who wanted to rile one country into attacking many others. Just saying.
I've navigated life in zombie mode today but as you asked for some thoughts I've just burst one: although I think Malthus was a bit of a cock I do prefer it when there's less people around.

Thought for the day:
Why do i think an establishment is 'less than salubrious' if it sells beer in cans but think nothing of bottled beer?

Thought for the day:
I might switch to a building society because they don't employ the profit motive, apparantly.

lol!
[edit]
You Are Gay isn't nick, right? I had thought You Are Gay was nick, right from the start. But now there's a general consensus that he is, I've decided he can't be.
This is less of a thought, and more of a statement of fact. Feel free to change your beliefs accordingly in your own time. This post was brought to you thanks to modest sagacity.

People who feel the need to carry on any kind of conversation in a public toilet while on the shitter get what they deserve.
