Please note if Tony ever complains that he never got sex on Easter Saturday 2005 it's because I just spent the last ****ing hour scrolling out on that ****ing thing.

Re: Interesting little piece of art
Glad you folks enjoyed it, I aim to please.
It is pretty ****ing trippy, specially when you look at a 2nd or 3rd time and pick out little details, like the lizards that form both ends of the tongues

it uses neither
have you got flash disabled as well?
btw there is a screensaver version of this at http://zoomquilt.nikkki.net/ that avoids all that annoying mouse dragging. (The old version I used to have bookmarked (dead link now) used to use the cursor keys to zoom in/out which was much better)

Re: Interesting little piece of art
im not that impressed, i got bored after a minute theres really not that much to see and once you've been round two or three times. And why is it called a piece of art? as far as i can tell theres not message or thought behind it.

Re: Interesting little piece of art
Art can be created just for viewing pleasure, or to get a reaction/emotion. A thought or deeper meaning, is in my view, not nessecary.
Great link, never seen it before!

Re: Interesting little piece of art
erm thats just a decoration or something that looks nice, art can look nice but i was under the impression that there had to be thought behind it. As far as im aware (and GD will probably pounce on me for being wrong) art is a process whereby you take something* and put it in a different context to shed new light on the something or the context. That isn't anyones definition but my own.
* a thought, and idea...anything

Re: Interesting little piece of art
Sometimes art is just a picture/movie/music/words that makes you think for yourself rather than just processing someone elses prechewed thoughts and ideas.
Sometimes it is a representation of an idea/thing in a different light or unexpected form as you said.
And at other times it is both at once.
This is my view of art.... someone will probably flame me now for being so tasteless or ignorant on the topic, I have a list of candidates I hope they do not dissapoint.
