Going to Harry Potter turns out to be a bomb, almost.
Yesterday I dediced to take my wife to see Harry Potter. I find them quite entertaining. However, when we got to the theater, the entire area had been roped off by the police. Fortunately, for my curiosity, I knew some of the police officers involved in the crowd control and was able to find out what was going on.
It turns out that they had discovered a suitcase which had been abandoned near the theater. They had x-rayed it and had determined that there were wires on the inside so they had to call out the bomb squad. It being the weekend they were all off duty so had to be rounded up.
At any rate, some four hours after its discovery, the "bomb" was exploded. Inside were various computer parts and wires.
The four hour wait made for a lot of upset little witches and wizzards!
I went to a nearby town and watched it in another theater then read about the length of the wait in the morning paper.

why did someone leave a case full of pc parts in the cinema? did it have a laptop or something in it? maybe the case was a laptop case?

Re: Going to Harry Potter turns out to be a bomb, almost.
Pfft. You know the next attack won't be in something like a suitcase. It'll be a big white van with 'BOMB' written on the side of it.
Everyone will think it's part of some generic mtv prank show and no one will do anything about it.

"Hay guys there are reports of a huge bomb on the way, can you go check it out please?" "Sorry dude, but it's the weekend and we're off-duty." ".............because nowhere ever gets bombed on the weekend rite?"

I thought it was a great movie. I could go into why, but I think it's enough to say that it was well polished and had fantastic actors, including an amazing Voldemort.

phang obviously thinks daniel radcliffe is attractive. personally I would disagree. the only attractive person in the film is (from trailers) that hermione girl. but on the other hand I heard good things about the head boy being gorgeous.
alas i shall never know because harry potter bores me silly.
now as for all you 'whating' I'm going to (out of kindness) assume either:
option 1) you had regressed to the period of the regency and you were saying 'hello'
or
option 2) daniel radcliffe's cheeky charm is not what you look for in a man
this is because option 3) (the one where your christianity has lead you to become a biggot and homophobe) is such an unkind option.

or option 4) it was either a who? or a picsplzta! kind of post
so I'll rewrite it: Who?
picsplzta.
EDIT After googling I realise I have shown my Harry Potter ignorance.
But he certainly isn't what I look for in a guy.

tbh, with all the popularity she's got currently, I do wonder how long it'll be after she turns 18 until naked pictures of her appear. Especially as she'll no doubt get into other films.

There was that website counting down to her 16th (perhaps it was her 18th) Birthday when she'd be "legal". It's amusing but really quite wrong.

Watched the movie. With a woman.

She wasn't pleased when I said "I'd do Emma Watson anyday. ****ing hell she is fit."
*Sorry guys...

The problem's that the cinema was at Tottenham Court Road (next to my workplace) and Ste was at Croydon.
You figure out the distance between the two and how long's the journey time.
Ste, if I remembered about the fixture by friday I would have watched the football instead. It's a shame I forgot and you reminded me and I missed it because I heard Ronaldinho was at his finest.

Many of the boys in it were very nice, although I take issue with Phang's unnatural obsession with Daniel Radcliffe.

That or it was some idiots idea of a prank. I don't think so however as the placement of the suitcase wasn't right by the entrance of the theater but just down the street in front of a small grocer. Come to think of it the grocer is owned by muslims.

Well I am not saying that all muslims are evil but if you just simply kill every single one of them, there might be a lot less suffering and frustration in this world!
