Nike ID
Well I saw an advert on tv, by nike, so I went to the website found here. Basically you can take most nike trainers and personalise them. I fiddled around with different types and made some nice trainers imo. Nice touches imo, is putting personalised writing on the back of your trainer and the tongue of your trainer. If you want a personalised touch for your trainers, try it out.

Re: Nike ID
christ..
I'm as much amazed by its utter useless as the fact that somebody actually found it cool.
I bet they got small children in Burma to code it too!

Re: Nike ID
That's probably the gayest thing I've ever seen.
Although, I only know one person who has ordered a pair of Nike's with this "customisation" and they're one of the worst human beings I've ever encountered. So perhaps it'll be (another) easy way to identify people who are unmitigatingly shit.

Re: Nike ID
do you think they'd let me customise a pair of trainers to look exactly like a pair of Adidas?

I can't help but think that you'd also think of me in that way.

I'm not sure. Last time I met you (albeit briefly) you were wearing a t-shirt that I happen to own anyway, so I wasn't exactly going to criticise. And you seem fairly reasonable from your posts here. However, yes I suppose if I knew nothing about you and met you while you're wearing Nike "ID" trainers (or whatever they're called) then I'd probably tend towards that conclusion.
My basic point was that shit* people tend to like shit** things. This seems like a bit of a truism to me. Now, it does not stand to reason that people who like shit things are automatically going to be shit, but it's a reasonable assumption to start with (or at least, so I generally find).
* = People I tend to think are shit.
** = Things I tend to think are shit.
